He rocks man...would he be on my team if he didn't. He is so fricken fast it is not even funny. Our buddy who works at the local paintball was playing with us and he has an eclipse shocker. While flash made a run with the flag out in the open, the dude emptied his hopper at him and still didn't hit him. That and for the last year all he has been using is a PT Enforcer to hone his skils...that and the fact that he doesn't have his tourny gun yet...But anyways after all of that he took his brothers standard spyder without a rev loader or anything and was toatlly kicken anal regions. So yeha he's pretty good...to say none the least.

If what youz say about Flash is true, like he walks on water and super **** like that , then i have no definetion for my god damn perfection, i just got into the sport and i have many teams wanting me when tourney's hit. I've only played a few times with a Spyder Xtra(stock) and all i want to do is hit them in the head in wich i do. My team lets me go into enemy territory alone giving me little cover fire(a god is in need of cover fire sometimes) and i take the **** over from there. People are even buying my gun. Thinking it's there ticket to hollywood. I lived in the bush all my life , hunting , fishing, these people i shoot look like tourist to me.. can't wait for tourney's, need some paint from ya flash caus i,m not getting any here.

Tourneys are alot different than playing in the bushes. Have you watched a tourney before? It's INTENSE! The fields are made so you can't sneak around in the bush.

ya i played in small battle fields but not enough to get around as much as i wanted too, this is where a new gun will come in, i think? not sure though. it seems to me if you play buy a few key rules , like don't hug your bunker , just youz it to hide but at a farther distance to stay alert at whats going on,(found that out the first time i played) got rushed and i was sitting there like a scared instinct muskrat or something, pretty much wrapped in a ball...sigh,, never again,, if you got solid hook ups for cover fire it isn't so bad, but yet again haven't played with too many electroz.. so i said this before , somewhere, whatcha do if buddies packing an angel with a massive pod hook up, like carrying a good 1500 balls wich would be normal in a tourney for the rich or a very generous sponsor,, i can't afford that.need to get more sponsors, but ya what would you do if you aint packing the juice like he is,(flashback to the musckrat position) oh ya he has angels around him for cover fire too, it just seems to compact (speedball) i think it basically boils done to whos got the more flow$, could be wrong.

Don't worry about what gun you have. I've seen spyders take out Angels before, if you play smart and have skill it doesn't matter what kinda gun you have. The custom product barrels are supposedly REALLY good for the money, I would buy one. There won't be much of a difference in performance between a 12" and 14", I would go with 12" because it's easier to use, 14" is better for sighting down the barrel. I don't trust the 32* barrels, plus they look ugly (my opinoin). Do you have a motorized loader (Revolution)? If you're gonna play some tourneys, a revvy is a must, your chances of breaking paint will be greatly reduced, and nobody wants to break paint while in an important game. What do the other players on your team shoot? How long have you all been playing?

Blake, first off thank you for your quick reply,i will be purchasing a barrel as soon as this is done, well i just started, these other guys who i play with have been playing for awhile and are starting or should i say already started a full out business, selling products, certified to fill tanks,they already have decent land in the back ,,many acres so they pretty much have it going on for a good solid business, i first started out with the Raptor limited edition, they invited me to play when i was getting my tanks filled up at there shop, played my first game with them and they seemed to like my style, quick, fairly accurate with my shots for a beginner , i actually made people fall back with a Raptor,and everyone knows me in this small town as a crazy motha ****a, so then i brought back my raptor, and exchanged it for the Spyder x, i told them about it and they now made me apart of there team , guess they thought i was getting into it hardcore so they let me in on the bandwagon,,,man in need of sleep,, oh ya the guns around here are mostly spyders, everyone is going bigger as we speak, i don't have a rewy yet but i know i need one also, I might buy an angel for when i sell my cars... gotta go , theres only one phone line here and well ,, i just gotta go,, talk to you later..it's 3:08 and i'm still up, paintball is worst then drugs but are just as good...see ya blake

i think its June 12,, i printed out all the tourneys from Wasaga, but gave the info to my partner. i'll have to check it out again..how early do you have to call for your team registry, it probably is too late for that tourney , i'm not sure,i gave the info to the captain of our team,, and i already suggested that i could get a few people down there if we needed guys,, but so far we have 5 solid players maybe four so i will keep you in mind for sure Blake..

no our team hasn't practiced yet, but we start tomorrow,, need to print out some good drills and stragedies,, as for you , you should get a job quick,,i shouldn't be talking ,, i haven't worked in awhile..awwww feels damn good too ..I like the front as well for i am pretty fast,,and i want to shoot everybody for myself. but it all depends on whos packing the superguns,,i might be back man for i might have the fastest gun. our team will be awesome caus we are all serious and dedicated,,when we play around here everyone knows who we are and the word out is don't fuc* with that crew. like i mean we usually finish the game ,, for around here us four could take on 9 guys with ease maybe more,, but around here alot of them suck, so the only way to find out is trying a tourney,, this will be our first year,, Pete just started his paintball park/selling business,, even if we don't win we will gain experience on what to buy for next year, how to approach other teams,, this year is just to see what we need to do for the next year,, thats when the training will get intense. mmm i want another gun,,

Ask your local field if you can get a sponsorship. My old team in BC was sponsored by the local field. Oh ya, I was just an extra on the team and only played 2 games. Before you buy a new gun, use your Spyder. See if it suits your style or what you want in your gun. Do you have a team name? I'm gonna apply for Mcdonalds...I hoped it wouldn't of came down to this :( . You'll learn alot from talkin to other teams. I've met alot of good Amateur teams. I talked to some girl from Iron Maidens (all girl), they've been around for a long time but they still suck :D There's a pic of a guy from team "Highlanders" in an APG magazine, I met this guy, ended up lending him my lawn chair and eating trail mix with his team. So many cool things at tourneys, there was this one team I met, everyone was 13-15 and all had spyders but they could still take out cockers and bushmasters. heh

Umm, I'm not sure what stores will be able to sell all that. I know that http://www.wasagapaintball.on.ca can get you some stuff if you ask them. If you're gonna use your gun with Co2, get the "Palmer Stabilizer" reg, it works best with co2. For HPA, umm, I've heard good things about the AKA Sidewinder ( http://www.akalmp.com ) the MACdev Gladiator ( http://www.macdev.net ) is good, but I'd save a few bucks and go with the PMI Pure Energy reg, $120 from Badlands. If you want an expansion chamber and reg, it's hard to do. You'll have to somehow put the expansion chamber before the regulator. It'll work if you use a remote. The only regs I've seen that go on the drops are the Spyder ones. I'm buying a reg in July for $100. I think that's it..OH, wanna make your gun look FRICKIN SWEET!? WGP reg for $120!! Dude, the WGP reg will do well but you can get it for ALOT less than that. I'll ask some cocker owners if they have they're old regs lying around. I could probably get you one for $30-40. The WGP reg will do better than the Pure Energy on Co2. The PE reg is still good though. Pro team Aftershock uses them. I'm gonna buy one some time in July. The palmer is best for co2, but expensive. I know where you can get a pure energy reg for $100 so I'm gonna do that, I could probably get a WPG but I just don't like the looks. Regs are better than expansion chambers WHEN you don't get liquid co2 in them, then they can mess up (the palmer handles liquid co2 though). Answer your question?

When co2 goes into your tank, it's first a liquid. Once it heats up a bit it gradually expands into a gas, the gas is what operates the gun. Know when your gun freezes up around the grip, barrel or tank? That's liquid co2, it freezes things up and is not pleasant. If your gonna get a reg, I HIGHLY recommend you get an anti-siphon tube installed. This will prevent the liquid from getting in your gun. Another thing, when you screw on your tank, give it a minute just to let the liquid expand.

Yup, I got mine done at the Badlands in Vancouver. You'll have to get it done by a certified airsmith though. What they do is take out your pin valve, put the tube in the neck of the tank than put the valve back on. The tube is bent 90* at the end so it sticks up, this is to make sure that liquid can't get in.

Yup, they'll work on the 2 n 1. You don't need a reg for an anti-siphon, I used one on my cocker. I think they cost $15, not sure anymore. Are you gonna buy that P.Energy reg as well?

How much money did you make? When I get enough money and am more serious about paintball, I'm gonna buy the Ultimate Impulse. It costs around $1400 but is tourney ready and maxed out. Badlands sells it, you should take a look.

I've heard about people filling up their compressed air tanks at Scuba shops. I'm pretty sure you can take out the HPA tank and screw in a co2 (they work well on co2). So no prob there. HPA will be better for tourneys, keep your shots consistent and A ok.

I really don't think they would preform as good as the impulse would. They are not bad but still you are not just getting an electrig frame when you upgrade to an electric gun. You are getting fever mechanical parts and replacing them with selinoids and rams ...in stead of metal on metal type stuff.


Personally I think if you wanna go electric...then you should go all the way...you wil just see alot better results.

The stock one is just fine...the turbo on the impulses is said to do very little....its turbo does not work like the shockers turbo....also it operates at such a low pressure you really don't need the eye...all the eye will do is slow down your rate of fire...in the impulse the bolt will simply hit the ball and re-cock itself...it will not chop the ball....thats one of their best selling features...the eye is a frill...get a stock gun...it will be fine and then a good high pressure bottle...yes they can run off co2 but air always works better...go for a 88ci 300psi...not too expensive..

Does the stock impulse come with a gadged grip....If I were you I would spend a little extra and get the reg vertically mounted so it in essence becomes the forgrip....just a lot better placement of the reg and you don have to use as much macro line....better feel too....but if it does come wiht the gadgetgrip then the mackro will go through the grip...no need to get the vert reg if you don't want too. But I also know you have a budget the gadget grip will have to do...but eventually if I were you I would get the vertical reg mount so that you get the reg off the bottom of the gun...but until then it wil do fine.

Oh....and I have aa black punisher shirt that I wear when I play paintball....all it is is solid black with that big whit punisher skull on the front and some barbed wire stuff on the arm with a smaller skull...I recently played a big game and I wore the shirt and when I left apparrently everyone was like..."hey where did that punisher guy go"...so I know it has an effect...hehehehe anyways....

Hey hadoken.. this is what pyro's talking about. Both the shocker and the impulse have the max flow so don't mind the fact that i'm using two diff guns as examples.

Ok the max-flow on the impulse in the pic is under the grip. ON the shocker its in front of the trigger frame. Pyro is saying that you can order the impulse with the max-flow mounted vertically like the shocker. THen you don' have to use that crappy gadget grip.

Do you mean like the shape of the foregrip...and how the lines and and bumps on it fit your hand...f thats what your talking about....then I have to say...that I have a shocker with the verticle mount and its got the max flow on the right side and the locking nut...but when you grap it its not uncomfortable. The gadget is very smooth and and there isn't much in the way but if there is something small, you really don't notice it after you play with it for a while...the impulse is a nice comfortably gun to hold...

You don't have to vertically install the grip but I think it helps....it gets the reg off the bottom, lowers the profile abit. but this is how it would bork if you did that...there would be a small pesce of macro attaching the reg to the gun...then there would be a small piece coming out of the reg and into an asa adapter you would have to put on so it could hold a tank....if you did all this I would suggest a shockec drop forward...it has worked the best for me on my shocker....good feel.

I know exactly what your talking about...on the impulse the hose is high on the grip so you think that when you grab the grip with your left hand the hose will get in the way....


The think is...you dont grap the foregrip like you would hold say a pipe before you beaned someone.....you end up cupping it more then you do....like a half grip...like on the shoker the hose is in the reg....right....and its on the side....well with mine I am toughing the hose when I hold onto the fron't reg...the only thing is si=ce I am cupping the reg rather then trying to hold it like I'm strangling a chicken I hardly feel it at all...I know if you held one or something like that you would understand...but on the impulse ...trust me you will probably never touch the macro like I think you think you are gonna do...

Hey man.. Intimidator is a sweet gun... far beyond an Impulse. I'd say the top two guns are the Shocker, and the Intimidator. Contrary to popular belief, the angel is not the best paintball gun. The shocker is much more accurate. Inimidator is a mix bewteen an angel and a shocker. It has all the cool firing modes of an angel LCD but has easier control and near accuracy of the shocker, but lighter. Very light though!

Shocker is lower pressure though.. like 180 psi right Pyro? YOu can stick your finger in the feed port and pull the trigger. Nothing would happen. The pressure is so low that it is nearly impossoble to break a ball. very nice. But for that lower pressure, you use more air.

On the flip side the Intimidator runs at around 300 psi. This means you get more shots outta a tank, but a ball could break.. but the intimidator compensates with an anti-chop eye...

Quite the dilemma.. but both are absolutly sweet!

I've heard that you can run Intimidators off of co2 but I think its an interesting process of finding the right reg and all that kinda junk...if your gonna run co2 the best gun to buy is the shocker...but thats not o be said it can't be done on an intimidator...I just don't know the process of how...but if you did get the shocker...the turbo you were asking about...its just way more fun....after about 3 shots it kicks the gun into full auto as long as you keep pulling the trigger....really fun....but either or....I'm sure if you talk to the right peole they could tell you how to run an intimidator off of co2.

ya there were some people selling the intimidator caus they were running co2 set up ,,they had the ans x 2 reg,,but it wasn't working right,,some told him to go with a palmer,,he said he tried nitro and it was mint,,,now the story about my car,,,another friend came over today and offered 4000$ cash,,that would mean i could order my gun like in a few days,,but i already agreed with my other buddy for 4200$ but on payments,,,just got a case of pro series zap,,i ordered the zap performance,,butt there was a mix up,,they looked like **** too,,,so i filled my 12 volt loader and rapid fired the whole loader on a rock 35 feet away,,no ball breaks,,i was amazed,,since i turned down my velocity ,,my spyder rocks,,people are going to die this weekend,,put the women and children to bed,,,can't wait for a shocker or timmy,,if eric does come back with 4000$ cash ,,i will buy a better setup,,,i will buy a couple of compressed air tanks with a gun,,,,can't wait,,soon,,

The intimidator is so not heavy.. its lighter than an Angel or impulse! It is lighter than a Shocker, but like Pyro says "get stronger". Its not much heavier.. differences are in like ounces or a few 100 grams... no big deal. But If you get a shocker, there is no screwing around trying to find a good reg. The shocker max-flow is sweet, and runs great of co2 compared to other electros.

Hey.. just fer legal sake.. if you already agreed with the other guy for 4200, you can't go back on the deal(legally). But if that guy doesn't know.. do whatever. In court they'd force you to go through with your original contract...Unless 4200 guy doesn't pay.. then thats breech of contract.. then again.. none of this crap is written down so disregard that whole wack of stuff.

Yeah...all you would have to do with the co2 tanks is get them anti-syphoned...just so they don't suck the co2 ;iquid into the gun...but its only like 10-15 bucks a bottle...and from what I have heard you can get about 1000 rounds off of a 20 oz.

Timmys and shockers are good choices, but if you buy the timmy, you're gonna have to buy an inline reg, HPA tank (for best performance), new barrel (maybe) and then get it set up with hoses, drop forwards etc. For the price, I say Impulse package. If you want a shocker, look into the Shocker Packages at badlands, pricey though.

hadoken back from the killing spree this weekend,,,i have to get down where youz are just to see how it is,,i feel like i am a god down here and people at the paintball park treat me like one,,i know i am always bragging on here,,and i do hate the braggers at the parks but i took out a whole team out by myself ,,three times,,the one i had my sister throwing off there attention by shooting at nothing so i could sneak in and kill them (thank you jennifer),,and when i mean that i killed the whole team i mean the whole team,,no one else killed anybody within those three games but me,,i want to tell youz my stories but they are way to long, i'll just go with a quick review,,5 games ,,,3 wins,, one ran out of time,,and one loss,,i made 4 people surrender,,i even had to go up quietly and tap a guy on the back and whispered for them to surrender caus there allies were close around (the two guys were in this bunker,,looking down where my sister was shooting,,they thought she was me)they just turned their heads and replied very quietly ,,ok ok,,(they were just amazed)...even in speed ball i made two guys surrender at the same time,,and the only time i got shot ,,once ,,was in the last game where you just go ape shi* and shoot out all your balls,,but i managed to kill everyone there except for the last guy,,he shot me,,,the referees were having a blast with me,,telling me "go kill these pussies" I never heard refs say that before,,anyway that will be it for now,,can't wait for an electro,,,

The "Sandridge Cocker" is what he meant. That gun is friggin SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. It's an autococker with electronics (solenoids and crap) on the front block with the other peunamatics (sp). So what you get is the legendary performance of the cocker with an electro setup. Included is a new trigger & frame, the trigger is electronic, thus much lighter and faster. But under the grip is this bulky box (not too big) that holds the battery I think. I wouldn't mind it much though, jus another drop forward. I hate it when people say the Angel is the best gun. I think it kicks *** but there are so many other better guns on the market for less dough. I'd take a Matrix, Shocker, Intimidator or Sandridge Cocker over an Angel anyday.

exactly... plus I've seen the accuracy on an angel.. good medium to short range, but the farther it goes, the worse it gets,, they curve near the end of their flight... not so with intimidator and shocker... Sandridge cocker looks nice... except for the wires dangling everywhere.
