EXACTLY, nothing is "just a poll"..... wall ok this is but useless polls still annoy me, and you get way more information from a thread! but i suppose ive been just as annoying as the people posting the polls, so i think im going to refrain from posting on stupid polls, otherwise ill seem like an even bigger *** :)

This one holds some interest because I'm in the barrel market, and I'm considering a Smart Parts (Progressive or Tear Drop). I've also heard some good stuff about the Dye Excel. Turn this into a thread, someone give me some input on these barrels. :)

I don't thik too highly of the Progressive or the Excel. That's just me. The Teardrop is a pretty good choice of barrel. I personnally have a JJ Ceramic barrel. I love it to death. If you don't wanna pay an arm and a leg for a barrel, but have high expectations, go for a J J ceramic. ALso check out the Lapco barrels. VERY good quality. A bit on the loud side, but dead accurate.

I guess i don't like the excel cuz i play with small bore paint and the Excel is large bore. I guess for large bore paint it's pretty good..but i love my JJ Ceramic

I like the price on the Excel, but I hear the Teardrop is quieter ... I've heard the accuracy is about the same on both ... Anyone hear differently?

i heard the Teardrop was a little bit better than the Excel. If i were to get anohther barrel, i'd go with a BOomstick or a Big Daddy

well if u want dead nuts accuracy get a bigshot, for quietness a sp but for a good mix of both get the execel

i'd get the Tear drop b/c there is a wide variety of paints that you could shoot b/c the Teardrop is med. bore and tehre is less chance of a ball rollin out of your barrel then with a large bore like the Excel. Also i think the Teardrop looks better
