Sand or something in my ASA!! HELP!!

Hey guys... My air source adaptor on my aci griffin with a 32* gas-through-foregrip has something like sand in it because whenever I screw in my Co2 tank, it makes this grinding noise like sand between your teeth... I took the o-rings off of my tank and washed the threads off with some water and dried it then oiled threads and put the oring back on and put some oil on it too but it still grinds. I took my battle swab and moved it around in my asa but it didnt work. HELP PLEASE----- HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE??? THANKS

OH AND BY THE WAY... ARE TIPPYS VERTICAL FEED?

i have an idea
its just a test not a solution
take off the grip
and see if it still makes the noise when you screw the tank into the va
try shaking the sand out your gas thru yet?

only prob is i got no gas man!
but ill try it thanks for the idea and do you know how to make a drop forward at home?it isnt like i dumped sand in there but only like a few grains or something but they are annoying as hell!

they arent actualy vert feed. Kinda like offset, but you dont need an elbow.

can I rinse out my asa by taking off the gas t. fore. and rinsing it with water?

Ok, kinda off topic, sorry - but look at this: I took my battle swab and moved it around in my asa but it didnt work The first time I read that I mistook the word "asa" for another unspoken-at-this-time word - Lol sorry I know that was a little inappropriate. :rolleyes:

tippmans are not vertical feed.

they just come with a permanent elbow. if you click the front piece, it unlocks and swings open. you can then just pull a squeegee through if you have a break.
