I'm sure this has been asked but i searched and couldn't find anything...

I was thinking about selling my setup and getting a matrix. No matter how i look at it I'm going to be stuck using co2 for the next 7 to 8 months. I heard antisiphon Co2 works good on it stock but i'm not sure. I'm thinking a Stabilizer and an antisiphon tank should be it. I'm not looking for anything high priced mods. I have the money, its just invested in my guitar right now.

yes the matrix will function on co2, but it must be anti-siphon!!!!! or you can kiss your matrix good bye. The best option for the time being would be like you suggested (if you want an on gun set up) the palmer stabalizer combined with an antisiphon co2 tank will work

all right... and a 20oz should give me around 800-1000 shots?

the efficiency on a matrix is very poor.

stock, without the bolt kit, i'd say your getting efficiency maybe a few hundred shots better than a shocker.

i'd say maybe 600-800
