Can the p/c accept nitrogen w/ out getting a special kit and without messing up my gun?

It wont mess up your gun, but you will use a ton of air. The springs and bolts in standard Tippys are set up to wok on the pressures and volumes of C02, not N2. I think that you might be able to contact Tippmann about how to set up your gun to work with it, but it will not hurt your gun in any way. I used my 47/3k pure energy tank on my Custom 98 one time and it did fine. I olny got about 500 shots out of it, as opposed to nearly 750-800 on an automag with the same tank. It was a preset model, set at 850 I think. Shot velocities will be more consistent, and you won't be shooting any snow.

My friend rented a HPA tank after his co2 tank froze on him and it did just fine, if not better than mine. So it won't hurt it.

no you dont need anything...it wont hog gas like that guy said above either

no, nitro is not needed for my setup...but awhile back i broke my SP on/off valve and used a nitro tank. it shot great.
