Cockers are not hard at all to take care of or time, when I got mine I hadn't even held a cocker before that day. Now (a month later) I know how to time it, understand it well enough to install a new 3way and intend on doing my own trigger job once I get this one screw. It is the best non electro, even better than mags in nearly every way. It is not the nightmares you hear the ignorant people talk about.

you will be happy with a AC, trust me. Timing is kind of confusing to understand at first but once you understand how role of the trigger plays it's role in making the gun function, you will understand timing. You should get the Autococker video by Tech Trix. Bob orr, explains the AC and how it functions, not the best video but very informative. I think the AC Is worth the money

"Should I get an Autococker?"
You guys might not remember the old Harley Davidson commercials... It went like this:
Guy One asks a biker why he likes his Hog.
Biker gives him this look... like an "are you stupid or something?" look... And then he says "If I have to explain it, you wouldnt get it."
Same holds true with something like a Cocker.

You probably should get a 2K A/C. I am getting a Mag (seem to be more reliable). Alot of people will time a gun for free if you ask them. Autcockers are worth it but I would rather Throw paint than own one.

Dude, you are full of it if you say that you would rather thrown paint than shoot a cocker. If you seriously mean that, then you are one arrogent sob (no offense). I'd rather shoot a talon than thrown paint, I'd get murdered throwing paint as opposed to getting murdered with style.
jesterdude isn't dissing a autococker he's just saying he would rather throw paint then use a cocker. In other words he likes mags. Nothin' wrong with that. Though i do like cockers.

I like cockers, its just that.......that.......they are not Mags.......And believe me, I would rather throw paint than shoot the following things:
Talon
Stingray (1 and 2)
Rainmaker
Tribal (All kinds)
Samurai
Anything BE
Tippmans
Pirahnas
and of course.....Anything above a 99 Cocker. I dont like 2000/2001 Cockers. I do like the Free Flow Autocockers though, those things are the 2nd smoothese thing I ever fired (nest to mags).
And Ravi has a pretty sweet A/C Infosheet.
