I was wondering...large stores sell things like computers, they put them on sale for 1000$, or 100$ a month for 12 months. Someone who wants a computer but can't instantly shell out 1000$ get their computer and pay installments.

Paintball is SOOO expensive...you get someone like me, who has a m98c, wants to upgrade to a higher end electro, but can't afford to dish out 500$+ at once, but I want to get a new gun, enjoy it now, but I simply cant spend that much money in one shot.

Are there currently any paintball stores that will do this? I would much rather pay 650-700$ over a 6-12 month period for a timmy and get the gun NOW, then wait 6 months before I can save the 580$ for it.

It's not a new idea, and I would THINK some places would/could do it. I think it would definately make high end electros much more appealing to the poor man.

just a thought....hehe...i know mike from CP hangs around here...sound like a possibility mike?

iv never heard of anythign do that, but u could probably talk to your local pro shop, but you actually pay extra for paying in installments, hehe im only 16 and i bought a bushmaster for myself with my own money. But if you do the math u lose money and stuff. But the best bet for installment buying is to ask your local store, or even email an online store and try to negociate it heheh :)

Yea, but you get the item alot earlier then if you had to pay in full all at once.

I have 350$ right now, I gave up on a Cocker because I'd never have the time/money to upgrade it to my taste.

I am looking at impulses because they are good/cheap, but I'd love to get my hands on an Orange Fade Timmy. But that is even more expensive. I dont' want to wait another 2 months until I can save up the cash (I have to buy a car also, my 17bday is may15th)

I am really not comfortable buying used, especially online because you don't know what your getting.

hehehe ya, i bought my cocker used online, which turned out good, i bought a flatline tank, which came fine, i guess i have been having good luck. hehe driving, im to lazy to get my licsence, dont wanna mess with having to pay insurance and worry about a car :)

Since u know some tourny guys that play, ask if u could buy one of their electros off them, i bought a cool bushy off my friend for a good deal :)

I'll e-mail mike at CP, see if he's interested in being nice to me :)

the only PB store i live near is the national paintball supply warehouse in salem, that's a big company, i doubt the manager can let me pay on installments. the store is bigger then him..i don't have any small local stores near me to negotiate with

Just put it on a credit card, then make payments to your credit card company.

Basically, you're asking to finance the purchase. Most paintball retailers aren't big enough to also house a financing company. Large computer retailers like Gateway, Dell, etc. can work that, but we can't.

ya when u pay over 12 months u pay more because its an annuary so each payment is more than the previous one and you can end up paying an extra 400 dollars on a 700 dollar gun

id much rather pay a store an extra 100-150$ to let me pay installments then support those leeches from credit card companies....
