I agree that they are overpriced and to say that you have an angel is one reason that people get them. Once my bushmaster gets to me it will better than angel for the same price. If it wasnt a custom gun then it would be a few hundred less. I can get you a set up that has all the features an angel has for almost half as much. You will have to do some trigger work to get it like an angels but it seems like it worth saving $500. It seems like noone here seems to believe my preaching.

You say that you can upgrade your bushmaster to angel level performance but you have to admit that their are some tradoffs that you just cant upgrade your bushmaster to.
The angel performance is stock and any type of upgrading reduces the overall quality of your gun compared to the actual product you are trying to mimic. Also the actual feel of the gun is another aspect you must consider in the
angel vs bushmaster debate unless you have really extensive milling which is very expensive and risky added to your bushmaster. Also consider aftermarket products available for each. The bushmaster has few compared to angels and the work you talk about is mostly custom work that may void warranties (if any).

dude, half the angel is looks. YOu can take a lot of gun, and make them have the same features as the angel for hundreds of dollars less. My example is this:
Matrix: 650.00 (paintballgear.com)
Trigger Job: Free if you know how but max 50.00
Accuracy: No need, its more accurate
Base Operating Pressure: no need, matrix has a base of 140, angel of 400-500
Warranty: Lifetime warranty, angel one year
Gas Efficency: Alright, ya got me there, but thats it
So look, you are paying around 500 dollars for looks, looks alone. The angel is a waste of money. I mean ill admit its cool to say, "i have an angel." but its not that great, so one day you will be saying, "i have a matrix." cause you know its better.

The bushmaster isnt trying to imitate the angel, it has stuff thats not even on the angel available. There are way more upgrades for bushmaster than angels. The only thing that i can think of that the bushmaster doesnt have as an upgrade that you can get for an angel is being able to tell the temperature which doesnt even work right on the angel. Obviously you dont know what your talking about if your saying milling a bushmaster is risky and they have few upgrades.
Heres a little bit of the dv8 which will bring the total to $650 if you buy it with a new bushmaster.
Settings will be as follows:
ROF's from 6 to 20, plus unlimited mode if eye is enabled
Semi, full, prog-burst (number set in a seperate menu), autoresponse, and turbo modes
4-22 ms dwell times (do not affect ROF; off-time is recalculated to compensate for dwell).
0-15 ms after-eye delay time, or eye bypass
1-45 minute game timer (started and reset with button 2; button 1 opens menu, button 2 selects functions after menu is opened, and 1 changes the menu).
game shot counter (reset w/ game timer)
feed output from 1/4 to 2 seconds, adjustable in 1/4 second increments (or bypassed)
buzzer that can be turned off, set to go off in specialized sequences at 1-minute left, 20 shots left, or timer up, adjustable volume
adjustable backlighting on LCD
tourney lock disables all menu functions (set all options, then turn on the lock)
game display shows mode, rof, lock (or unlock), ROF max (fastest you've fired), timer, and shot counter

i would also like to note that the bushmaster's design is adopted from the angel's design with the same firing internal operation but with different parts that are relocated in different locations

Yes I have shot them both and noted no difference at all. All the things you said is not true. Obviously you are the one that has not had experience with both. Tell me what you can do with an angel that you cant do with a bushmaster. Every electro gun has basically the same design with some having some differences. Do you expect other companies to change it because another ones uses it? How many blow back guns are there that use the same design?
So the bushmaster has the same design? Does that mean that they shoot the same? Does that mean that the angel is better because it costs twice as much but has the same design as almost every other electro? i guess your right, Ill get an angel instead of a bushmaster.

I shot a Bushmaster 2000 since they came out. They are very reliable (NOW! Initially they had some problems.) guns. I put well over 100,000 balls through my Bushmaster 2000, serial number 670, with minimal problems. While I had my Bushmasters I bought and sold 3 Angels, an Limited Edition LED, a standard LCD and a Cobra LCD. I didn't like any of them. They didn't feel right in my hand and I felt they were less accurate than my Bushmaster. I have since sold both of my Bushmasters. I now shoot an Excalibur. This gun has totally changed the way I play. It's not a spray and pray attitude like with an Angel. It's more accurate and much much more efficient. It's closed bolt, low pressure, electronic and very unique. Currently there are less than 200 of them in the public realm. On an 88 ci 4500 psi tank I'm getting between 1.25 and 1.5 psi per ball! It is like a LP 'Cocker in that it will stop on a ball instead of chopping it. I have chopped though with crappy Kick'n paint. It runs at 170-180 psi for 285 fps. The LPR runs at 60-100 psi depending on how you set it up. There is a data cable available for it. There are ports for intellifeed, warp feed and battery charger. It has a lifetime warranty, uses a Tornado Valve and a Lightning Bolt. From the factory the ROF is capped at 10.5 bps. A lot of people have said they wouldn't buy one because of this but it is a true 10.5. The Angel estimates rof. Funny thing is that with a 12 volt rev and fresh batteries I can out-shoot the rev. The Excalibur can easily attain and maintain the 10.5 with no problem.
If your interested in some videos of it go to my team website in my sig and click on videos. There's a bunch of them online that you can download.

i have an angel... i tried a bushmaster 2k, bob long intimidator, autococker sto, and an angel before i purchased my angel... in imo...
the bushmaster was pretty good, however my friend had one and it gave him problems... and i test fired it before he traded it in for an angel... its a good stock gun, but comes with an inconsistent regulator... and it was very hard to set the modes and all...
bob long intimidator is basically an upgraded bushy with more ammenities... like milling, custom ano job, ace, better stock barrel... i was thinking about getting this one... but i wanted the crazy milled version... since i couldn't find one... and since it won't be a another 6 months to actually get one... i chose for a 2k1 c&c bronze - haze angel...
autococker sto was another iffy... i like how it shoots, but... i wanted something with the least amount of maintenance, easy to clean, features... its a good gun... but i still wanted something electronic...
I moved from a m98, to spyder 2000, bob long with elcd, and now to a 2k1 angel... all within one year... if i was you get the angel... its the best stock gun i have seen in a long time...

Well, whatever, everyone's got their own personal tastes. However, it must be said that angels do not come in Bronze. The technical name for that color is "Doo-doo brown" :)
