Question about barrel length...

I ordered a 14" 32 Degrees Carbon Fiber barrel from Xtreme Sports Fulfillment and recieved a 16" barrel today. Which is better and should I return the barrel I got?

What is your playing style? Consider these factors.

A 16" will be cumbersome in tight bunker/indoor play. Helpfull when you play woods or have room to comfortably manuever.

A longer barrel will not add to distance, and may actually decrease it (the effective barrel length is about 8" inches?).

A longer barrel means more barrel and more porting to clean when you get a break.

A longer barrel will be quieter than a shorter barrel.

I would make your decsion based on those.

When I called and asked about it, they told me that the 14" ones are backordered for about 2 months. I'm returning it soon. Thanks for the help!
