Ok my friend is really pissing me off saying that if he had a full auto he could beat anybody in the world. AND HES NEVER EVEN SHOT A PAaINTBALL GUN BEFORE:pissed: Hes really getting me mad. And hes says he can et a full auto for 150. Do you think he could? And do you think it matters the skill or the gun? and do you think you could get a auto for 150?(150 for an auto is not on the poll jsut post about that) Thanks!

The em1 is 250 and your friend is full of ****. He can't get a full auto for 150 unless he already has a spyder(or piranah) and is gonna buy the Electric Trigger frame for 150. The least you could get a full auto is about 230ish thats a spyder compact for 80 and the frame for 150. I don't know about tippmens and RTs though. But i know the minimum for RT is 95.
I voted for skill. A Talon could take out a Angel if you got the right guy for the job.
Note on Full Auto: After three shots on full auto you lose your accuracy.

Actually if you've ever seen an AT-85 or AT-10 rip into someone with full auto you'd know they're pretty acurate.

An auto will have the advantage...you can put a larger amount of paint in a small area in a short amount of time. Mathmatically your chances of hitting are higher. You have 10bps going at his head, he has 1 going at yours, paintballs dont' go straight so I would say the auto (of course skill matters more, but if both players are equally skilled the auto would be better IMO)

gah
i am so sick of hearing "a guy with a talon could take out an angel"
MAYBE, with ALOT of luck. the angel is throwing down 13-15 bps, and the talon maybe 1 per 2 secs. i seriously think in speedball i could take anyone with a talon out with an angel.

yea...i mean....if an angel is pouring down the cover paint...a talon would have to line up his 1 shot perfectly...in that time an angel can already pour 20 shots on you

this makes perfect sense, and sry i thought you could get a full auto for 150 my bad:paranoid:
and ak is right the guy with an angel could not know **** and the talon.........could bunker the angel guy or angle the angel guy out and hit him , its all about how well you know the field and how well you can use your surrondings as cover and if you know when to move
ahhh_the_madnes

It all depends on the kind of player had the angel... I mean if it was some cocky biatch who shot anything that moved than all I would need to do and stay covered, follow his moves and wait untill he comes around a corner , get out in the open, or something... People with angels tend to be more agressive because as it says on the box " the most advanced paintball gun in the world." I got like that when I got my timmy and then I got noobified.:|

I would vote, but taking your shirt off and squeezing nipple juice at him isn't on there... sooo... Eh....
Anyways agreed Skill does matter, but so does the gun. And who cares?

I just don't understand why some people own like 4 or 5 Angels...

They don't need to they just do it because they CAN. Like shooting 12-15 bps you don't have to but you do it anyway because the option is there.

I have to say skill. Today I took out guys with cockers and "suped" up spyders with a PGP. I didn't get shot and yet shot 60 balls the whole day. We played 4 hours and i'm the only one that had gotten anyone out. My count for today was 6 in teams and 4 in 1on1. Ive got lots of people who can tell you skill is the most important thing to have. Ive taken out stupid guys with angels with a sling shot. They were sitting down in the middle of the game playing with the buttons. I know this probably doesn't count but that just shows the stupidity that some people have.

I'd have to agree and say it's all about skill. you do need a marker that's going to be dependable, but that doesn't mean that it has to be expensive. It takes skill to outflank an opponent. you might have the most advanced marker on the field, but without the smarts, or the knowledge to know when to cover and move you'll still come in last.

i like the 'talon taking out the angel' cliche`
it may be "mathematically" in favor of the guy shooting 12 balls...... while the other guy only shoots one ......
but ONLY if they were just standing uncovered across from each other
all the guy with the talon has to do is keep popping oout at dif. places of the bunker to get the other guy to waste paint and keep moving well until the angel runs outta gas or balls and he can win with only shooting one ball:D

Plus, you ever shoot a full auto? Eventually you hit that skipped shot...errr CHOP! STuck bolt or what ever. Barrel full of goo, ect!
THen you bunker his a** w/ your talon.

it's 50 % skill 10% paint (both match and quality), 8% gun durability, 7% gun type, then 5% luck.
and with durability so low because if a pro had a gun most lickley they could shoot before it busted.

and who your playing against... what would be a challenge??? playing against a 9 year old newbie with a $2000 angel setup or Lasoya with a maverick.

What if Lasoya didn't know how to work a pump
But anyway, If I had an Angel. I'd sell it and buy a spyder :biglaugh:
Know why? I wouldn't have people calling me a newbie with an Angel even though I'm not a newbie. If I had a spyder they'd just call me a newbie =)

Sure, the guy with the full auto has the mathematical advantage, but math cant factor in skill. Skill gots my vote

well if the kid has no paint from going full auto, then hes an open target, but if the kid has never gone before then it would be easy to bunker him. Since you know he would be afraid to move to different bunkers, all you would have to do is get the angle, pour paint on his bunker to keep him down, run up and bunker.

long ago, in a land not so far away, I got stuck playing left tape in a Tourney game, on a field whose left tape was a sorry piece of s***, with about five bunkers opposition side of centerline, and two good bunkers on my side. My sole advantage was that there was a solid forty feet 'tween my bunker and the next...
to render an already lengthening story short, the two guys pushing that tape fired easily 1000-1200 rounds between them at me alone during that game-- and I gogged guy one and hoppered #2. Rounds fired? about 50. Ask the ref. He stood on me like a home plate umpire from horn to horn. We laughed about it as we walked off.
I told him that if they had only given me the $20 in paint they had slung at me, I would have walked off voluntarily. :D
Its a matter of volume vs. consistency. If you take 1000 shots and all 1000 suck, then what's the point? Only takes one...

I got my flash for 150....so i guess a $150 full-auto ain't a pipe dream  . I know a flash isnt that good of a full auto, but the one i got is 150.
