Hey I've heard of many scenarios that involve night play, but haven't been able to attend one yet. I was just wondering what it's like and what are the best tactics. Post any of your thoughts on night play here!

I played night once... it was good... rough but good.. it is hard to se which team anyone is on! plus I would suggest staying away from or even looking at any lights! It messes up your vision a lot and it comes back slow!
I suggest you do it! It is fun!

A cousin of mine playet nite ball and they all had to wear little glowsticks around their neck. They're weren't too bright so that it messed up your night vision. Depends on where you play, but you could have each team wear a different colored glow stick so you're not shooting your teammates.

I have played several night games on real and outlaw fields. It is a blast! The game I palyed at my local field was wild. Everything you think you know about a field during the day is compleatly blown out of the water at night. You think you know where the nearest bunker is and when you run to it you fined that you were compleatly wrong and run into a tree (did not happen to me but the guy beside me did) You also have to worry about friendly fire. If you are more of a back player or spotter you will need to adjust your game and get into the action because you can't see where the other team is going and if you hang back too far you will end up shooting your own front players as they move up. If you are a front liner you will have to slow your aggressive style a little or you run the risk of getting shot in the back by your own team. One thing I saw one front player do is place a small bluegreen led light on the back of his mask. This light was not bright enough to be seen by the other team but it was seen really well by our team and we knew where he was. I also got to use some night vision equipment that some kid with rich parrents brought to the field. It really worked great because I got the sight and set up beside two good shooters and started adjusting fire for the two. We took out seven of the other team without them even fireing a shot.

Make sure you stay close to one or more allies , less confusion and you really need the people to look out for each other, I suggest finding a friend with a Night Vision scope or such :). Something you could do to ruin an opponants vision is Get One of those Flare sticks ( They sell packs of 3 at Target) and toss it at someone to screw them over, or Target also has a 2 million candle power Flash light :)

And YES dont look into any lights it takes 10 -15 minutes for your eyes to adjust to extremely low lit conditions. If your hopper or gun has anything which lights tape over it for the game (such as the evolution hopper has a small red led on it ).

Dont worry about cammo, black works better.
