ok, from what i have seen it is a hose that runs from front and a reg like you would see on a cocker to lower the pressure to around 100. what parts are required for this setup and how mucH?
you can't use a VFF with it...but is there a need for the VFF with a LPR setup? i wasn't able to find any clear info on this so anythign would be appreciated
\
also, at what point does chopping balls become a problem? i probably won't go for the vision system...i probably will only shoot 8-10 BPS MAX if i ever need it...i have a 12v revy...i shouldn't chop right?

At 8-10 bps you should not chop, but you could if you are in the middle of a game and your batteries in your revy get low.
You are correct about what the LPR does, it is similair to a LPR on a cocker. You do not need a vff because this does about the same thing a vff does except a little more by lowering the solenoid pressure.
I hope that answers your questions.

www.e-paintballoutlet.com is selling a take off impulse vertical adaptor that is drilled to accept an LPR for 10 dollars. Then buy an LPR (i have heard the KAPP LPR's work well) and your pretty much done-well, you do need to get a micro-line or something to attach LPR to impulse (you attach it in that spot on front, near valve cap i think) and then set it up. But since i dont have an LPR, i really couldnt tell ya about that. But, you could always call the guys at e-paintballoutlet and ask them- if they're not too busy.

thnx....sounds simple enough
The LPR mod use to require tapping and pluging an interal passage in the Impulse. We how have a drop in solution. Simply - remove the current solonoid chamber cap (the silver allen screw on the fron ot the gun unser the valve cap.)
Install the LPR adapter. this accept a small hose.
If you have a Vertical adapter now, remove the brass PRV from the front. This is te easest place to mount the LPR. If you don't have a vertical adapter with the prv in front, we can sell you one very cheaply, or you can get a valve cap that is threaded to accept the LPR.
We can do anything way you want on this-- just sell you the fittings, sell you the fittings and LPR, sell yout the mounts-- any way you want to go
