Is there any type of lubricant I can use that I wouldn't have to go to a paintball store to get. I know 3-in-1 is bad for o-rings, as are many others, but are there any lubricants out there that are safe to use I can get at my local Canadian Tire, or hardware store. The nearest paintball store is an hour away and I hate driving that far just to get a bottle of lubricant.

I myself use white lithium grease. it works awesome on alot of high end guns, and I cant imagine it being bad for a spyder. Even if it was, just clean it off, one of it's major uses is pnuematic machines

I've had pretty good luck in the past using sewing machine oil on open bolt markers. Doesn't seem too hard on o-rings...

Check out the KC gun oil. This is an oil that is specifically made for Paintball markers. There are 2 types, 1 for CO2 markers and 1 for N2 markers. There is an article in last month or the month before's APG.

...you can call us at 800-898-2042 to buy some.

dude don't risk it with strange oils. Your gun is an investment, do you want to destroy it because you were to lazy to go to the pb store to spend five bucks on oil? Don't risk it. But if you need a god brand, I use gold cup.

I agree totally. There are plenty of places to purchase quality pb oil on the net. It is not worth saving a couple of bucks on oil that is going to gunk it up.

DO NOT USE:
WD40, motor oil, axle grease. These are some of the products people have used and really messed up their markers.
