What do you guys use to carry your gun in? I was considering making my own, but nothing around the house fit, so I was thinking maybe I could something like a camera case, an actual gun case, a hard briefcase, a trumpet case, or even one of those BE marker cases.
What would work best? I can't use those Redz bags, because my gun is shaped kinda weird from the mods I've done to it.

You can buy marker cases from a lot paintball shops that are universal size. I have the one I got from bbt that I am going to sell to get a better case.

Whatever you do, dont get a BE case. They dont have that much room in them. I've heard of ppl getting really good, cheap cases at lowes or home depot.

ok, Lowes. Speaking of Lowes, does anyone know what size pvc cap fits CO2 tank threads?

Yeah, walmart was out of em yesterday. I was pissed. But, it probably would have been too small anyway, I have to carry my Stingray with expansion chamber and sight attached, a 12 inch bigshot and a 9 ounce tank, and 4 ounce tank, so I'd really like to find one of those big camera boxes. My local store had an awesome on, but it's sold now.
It'd be even better if I could find on to hold a Talon along with it.

TLPlus84:
I may have two brass eagle guns, but they fit my budget. I can't work as much as I'd like because of school, so a Stingray is all I can really afford. Besides, it has never failed me, save a valve leak, which can be fixed in under thirty seconds with a 50 cent valve seal that can be used twice. I don't really see the point in buying a Tippman or Spyder or Pirahna until the summer, when I'll be able to work enough hours to support that. also take into account that I'm putting money into getting my car fixed up, and I do like to take my girlfriend out every week or more, so please cut me a little slack. I'm still new enough to paintball to justify using a Stingray, and everything I've done to it so far can be transferred to another gun when I choose to go there.

Back on subject, COPaintball has PVC tank thread protectors, and I need to know what the specs are to get them at a hardware store. And what's the URL for Big Boy's Toys or whatever. I'm looking for links, but I'm lost.

Let me just say this now. That Pelican case is a bit over the top. I mean 200 dollars? I don't think any gun except an angel or typhoon or some of those other superguns need that kind of protection.

yeah man..i think 200 is just a little too much. Just my opinion though.

Well first off the case is only $125. And second when you have a $800 set up, the case is well worth it. Plus, I need some new case's. I'll be getting the 1600, and a small JT or DYE sport bag.

ahhh you see you dint' say that..i thought it was gonna be for like a SPyder or somethin...but yaeh then it's worth it.

what gun are you planning to get now?

Hey, check this case out:http://www.ndsproducts.com/doskocil.html
It's the 10089, it has 2 levels of foam, and looks perfect for paintball use, looks to hold a marker, tank, barrel, maybe even a hopper, and it's only 34 dollars. I think I've mad my decision...

Pelican cases were originally made for Cameras, and I don't know where you're getting your price at, but you might want to try getting one from a camera store.

usually, I just carry all my stuff in a duffel bag. I wrap my marker in my change of pants so that way it wont get scratched, and I wrap my 68/3000 in my harness, so that wont get scratched either. It's cheap, and you only have to carry one bag, instead of a duffel bag and a marker case.
