Splat Em is a great field!
Ron (the 'hothead' owner) is one of the nicest guys in the business. He runs a good, and incredibly safe field, and goes out of his way to make sure that everyone has a good time (especially newbies).
I have known him for years and can tell you that if somebody said that Ron threw a marker and broke it, they are mistaken.
I've played most fields in WWA (including a few on the Pennisula). Buddy, there are bad refs everwhere (especially at tourneys....but that's a different story). The refs at Splat Em are, for the most part, decent guys. If you have a problem with their calls, with their personalities or whatever you should talk to the owner, or whoever is running the field. Give them a chance to address the issue and try to fix it. C'mon, that's just common sense and courtesy.

What field is that? I am willing to bet that I have played there and can list things about the field that sucked. Furthermore, I could probably find people that will not play there because of bad experiences and go around bad mouthing your field.

Bottom line is that if you have a problem, be a man and bring it to somebodys attention. That's how you make things better.

You're right, I probably did take that a little too personal; didn't mean to sound like a jerk.

Haven't actually played at Skinny Joes yet. Funny you should mention it though, I was looking at skinnyjoespaintball.com not 5 minutes ago. From what I've read, sounds like it's a pretty good place to play. Is there any speedball, or is it all rec?
