Don't worry at all about weight because if it is heavy, then after a few weeks of playing with it you will grow enough strength to tote it around like a tippmann.

automags are lighter than cockers because cockers have more parts(i am not insulting cockers it is just a fact that they have more parts so they weigh more)

I have a cocker and my friend has a classic mag,,,its not even funny in the difference. Mine weighs about 10 pounds, his weighs like 5. But like ry_goody said,,after a while you can tell the cockers weight.
