No Impy is gonna be really efficient......
On your tank, I'd say you should set it around 400-450 psi.

Bad Dog! Bad!! Go Home! Go on... get!! Darn Shocker folks!
Everyone knows Impys are much more efficient then those gas guzzlin Shocker hogs! Das "Bad" BaldDog!
I run my Imps input at 180 at the max-flo's, And 500 from off my Armageddons. I'll adjust my dwell based entirely off what my chrono reads at 280 f.p.s.
Do you smell something like dog cra.... Go Home! Bad Dog!

Do NOT set the output of your Max-Flow to anything above 200psi! You're relief valve will blow as the solenoid cannot handle over 200 psi.
Set it to 180 and adjust your dwell until you're shooting 280fps... that's the most efficient set-up.

Oh crap.... he did say that he was running an on-tank flo....
My bad. Yeah like he said above 200 is bad..
You did get something wrong, it wouldn't blow the pressure relief valve at all (as that is more of a co2 accomodation than anything) it would blow the solenoids.

Quiet you rat chaser.......
I said SUPER efficient...... no Impy is gonna be SUPER efficient. Any gun running lower than 350 psi isn't going to be super efficient.
And you own a Shocker too so.... quiet.

No, the relief valve will open... I've done it  It opens to vent to save the solenoid... thank God.

It won't open at 400 psi......
At that pressure, the sol's would be gone LONG before the valve opened.

Also, if the reg is set to 250 (just an example) then the valve won't open unless it goes ABOVE 250....

The maximum output pressure of an Impulse's Max-flow is 300psi... how are you getting it up to 400? The PRV will open if the output of the maxflow is set to over 200psi.
Are we talking about the same valve? I'm talking about the little brass valve on one of the Max-flows output ports (top on a bottomline MF, front on a vertical).
