Hate to burst your bubble dude, but that's pretty near impossible. If anything a j&j barrel would lower your fps (by a very insignificant amount due to friction).:D

no.... i thought that would never happen and that it would be impossible for it to happen and i was like holy ****, 40 fps from a barrel!! oh well, i'm ordering my ceramic in a couple of days.

yeah, it's impossible for any barrel to increase a paintball's velocity. Co2 or compressed air transfers energy into the paintball, accelerating it out of the barrel. the barrel does not transfer energy to the paintball. it will not speed up paint. :)

Yeah but, if your new barrel fits the paint size better than your old barrel then it can increase your gas efficency, so in turn if you did not adjust your gun then you velocity would increase.

some barrels are more gas effecient than others, but your still gonna be shooting balls at around 280 fps.

with my syder i was shooting like 240 but when i put on a J&J two-piece it jumped to 266. and it wasn' a velocity spike. the first fivve without the barrel were 244, 245 253, 261 245, but then with the barrle it was 266 262 260 265 266. so i was shooting a little bit faster but not 40 fps more. if anything it made it more consistant
