thsi has happened to me and many people i know, have you ever been shot by someone on your own team?

i was playing recball one day on a wooded field and i realize i have only 20 rounds left, i run over to my firends bunker and ask him for ammo, he says he has some in his harness so i go and open his harness and try to get a tube out, all of a sudden WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! , 3 hits that break, one on my barrel shroud, one on my hopper and one on the side of my mask, i think"where did that come from" then WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! , 3 more hits, one on my back, one on my harness, and one on my the back of my thigh. i turn arround and all i see are two newbies with rental guns standig there shooting at **NOTHING** :pissed: i turn around and start screaming at them like a maniac. thier excuse was that they "though i was on the other team" when i have the longest armband on my team and am shooting IN THE OTHER DIRECTION....OMG......:(

I ran through the gate that seperates two of the fields so we could take the opposite field and realizing there was no way i was gonna make it i turned right ducking low and my own team shot me in the neck from about three feet away, dear god that bled.......:(

my friend was up in a tree (newbie at the time) and i was kinda below him laying down fireing at someone on the other team. I was layed down in the prone position, facing away from my friend and he shot at me. One hit me in the sloe of my shoe. I felt it i guess since we were kinda close, and I got really mad because that was the second time i was hit by my teammates that day.

I was playing on a speedball field with my brand n00bie friend and when the ref yells go he runs by my back while shooting, and I got hit from 3 feet away at 280, 4 TIMES!!!

Heh, I was playing front on a wooded field at my local field. Both of the people I came with were already out and the game was going nowhere so I decided to move. After yelling at this guy for 3 minutes trying to get his attention, I finally did. I got up but my bunker was sprayed with paint from the other side. I finally located the guy and told the guy on my team to keep him down while I moved. My last words to him were "Cover me". I got up and ran and was shot in the side, from behind by the guy who was "covering me". I think I said something like "Not in paint dip****!" right after I was called out by a ref ....

Offf the break in a sup air game I ran to my bunker, when I slid I was hit in the back! It was a practice.

As I was rippin at my local P ball field me and this other guy are real close to the left tape firing at guys near the back tape. My noobie friend runs behind us following/trying to be brave and tries to fire over the top of my head nad hits the top of my mask. I didn't know if it counted until a ref called me out.

Yeah I was playing speedball at an indoor field and I was at the 50 and a NOOB was at the 40 trying to follow me and he tries to snap shoot he hits me 5 ******* times in the back of the head :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: It hurt like a *****. Next game he was on the other team and I gogged him with 6 shots.

yeah, my friend was playin speedball against me on our local field, and i was about to get him out, when this kid on his team opened up on him and nailed him right behind his mask, on the neck, about 5 times. the kid was 10 feet away, and could see that he was facing the same way as him AND had no armband. nevermind that the kid had only played once and had a parent-funded angel.

I was playing woodsball. It was only me and my "stupid friend" left. We would take turns peaking out from behind the tree shooting. I told him I was going to shoot, so I peak out...so he peaks out and shoots me in the ear! I cussed him out, so by then we were both out. He's not very good at paintballing, can ya tell?

ugh. bad memories, but here it goes. on speedball, i go up the left tape to the FIRST bunker on that side. i slide in, and i put my hand on the back of the bunker to stop my body from slamming into it. as im re-collecting my thoughts, i still have my hand on the back of the bunker (noone can see me, im right up against the bunker). then suddenly, i get hit in the hand 3 times real fast, and i looked around and said "WTF?!?".. then i get hit again, i just got up and walked off the field. i was watching to see who hit me, and there was 3 noobs that stayed at the starting fence, (on my speedball everyone starts behind a big fence) they stayed there, and popped out and shot me in the first 15 seconds of the game. they claimed "i was on the other team" .. yea right, they were just tired of getting shot up all day, they needed some revenge.

yeah, at our last tourny, we were playin, and I was shootin pretty fast and one of my teammates ran in front of me and I hadn't even realized it, but I shot him in the back of the head from like 5 feet away

Well....I have three different ones...I'm beginning to think people just don'e like me. After working my way up the left tape one time, I had just hacked through two guys and had only one guy left before I could come completely around and blow everyone away from their backside. I was in their bunker at the 80 and nice and safe. Or so I thought. I got hit twice, from waaay downfield on the opposite side. My teammate (my father) later told me all he knew was he saw a hopper stick up waaaay down the field and figured I couldn't have possibly moved up that fast, so he shot at it. Long..quiet...ride home. Who says blowbacks have bad accuracy?

The second one involved night play at Time Wars scenario. I had spent over 45 minutes crawling on my stomach around the opposing base, and I was allllmost in range of the general. All I had to do was silently creep my way up the hill a bit till I could see him on top of it. All of a sudden THWAP THWAP THWAP! in my leg. 45 minutes of stealth wasted, and even if I hadn't been shot, my cover was blown. Walking off the field I saw two players appear from nowhere. They asked me what color I was and I told them and the guy is like.."man, I am SOO sorry". And then he says to his buddy "Careful, there are friendlies in the area".
I told him "not anymore."

The third time was immensly irritating. After playing all day, it came down to the only people left was some guy with an automag, a kid with a SPyder, and a kid borrowing my Spyder. I took him on my team to even it out. Even so, he was new, and so the gun didn't do me a bit of good. Finally, after lengthy manuevering and a lot of work to get the guy with the mag out so I could take the little kid, I popped out the right side of a bunker and sa the little kid. I pumped my Phantom and drew a bead on him. Before I could squeeze the trigger though, I took three hits lightning quick to the backside and called myself out. The newbie goes "Ha!! Got you!" and I realize he's on my team. I said "I'm on your team you moron!" and he tries to tell me I'm not dead. I'm like "You shot me, I'm gone. You're on your own buddy." And then added to the other team "Light him up guys!!"
He was erased without trouble, the only downside being my gun had a bit of splatter on it. The worst part was, not only did my own teammate shoot me, he shot me with my OWN GUN!

At a local field I played at there was this kid who I will call "The Fat Kid". He was always not looking at who he was shooting at. In one game I got stuck playing with him. I told the other guys i was going left and they all said "ok we will go right". The ref yelled GO so I took off. Next thing I know I had all the other kids following me. One of other teammates (who was the owner of the shop we meet up at and the captain of the team we were on) went down the middle and was planning to meet up with me on the left flank but he got there before me and was standing on a hill with his back to us. Next thing I know "The Fat Kid" was shooting up the hill at him and nailed him all over the back and head (he has a lead finger). As the guy on the hill is walking off the field I hear the fat kid open up again as balls fly past me and hit another one of our team mates. The ref comes up to me and says "Fat kid just shot out 2 of your team mates". Mind you I was using a brand new cocker out of the box and nobody had a crono that day. So after hearing the ref's comment I turned my gun onto the kid and light him up from head to feet straight down his side with balls hitting him every few inches but a ball never broke on him. He screams I'm out and starts cursing me out cause I was shooting at him and I was on his team. I just reply "So was the 2 guys that you just took out" and walked away. I found out a week later at the world recond game, not knowing, the cocker was shooting over 350 and I turned it down before that game so I had to be shooting him at least 400. I am a type of person who never shoots hot and I feeled bad about shooting that hot but I am not sorry for lighting him up. At that game he still shoots his own team but not as bad. Guess he will never learn.

Ok... I was playing speedball at a not so local place... I was firing through a window... to keep heads down so the rest of my team could rush 'em... and low and behold... some stupid little kid(11 or 12 years old) leaned to look out the window!!! I think I hit him 2 or 3 times in the back of the head... he hit the ground crying... it totally freaked me out at first because I thought I had really hurt him... thankfully he wasn't hurt too bad...

ok, this is how it was. It was 5 on 6, the opening minutes. the teams were being messed around with at the last minute, so noone was 100% sure abot everyone on there team. This kid, a noob with a rental, wearing shorts and a t-shirt for god sakes, sprints to the other end of the field, the seond the buzzer goes. After realizing that he is runnign straight into a huge group of people who are gunna light his a** up, he turns around and while screaming, runs back. A guy on my team, hit him 2 times in the chest. Ouch.

Then he comes back on. (at teh field i play at, if ya get shot, u sit for 30 secs, to 2 mins, its all electronic, and rad) its the same game, right after he was shot. and he runs up on the snipe deck, and a guy on our team whips around and paints his *ss again, the same guy!!! Felt so bad for him. What a first experience!!!!!

I was a victim of friendly fire yesterday. We were just starting a game of CTF which had the potential to be a good game. Well right off the start a team mate of mine tripped on his own damn feet and when he hit the ground the SOB pulled the trigger. Shot me right in the back of my head!! :pissed: God that hurt like you wouldn't believe...

Being on the same team my little brother was like what?! and he said RUN! so my bothr did, then he shot him in the face. not only was the kid bann from the place, but when i see him, hes gunna wish he never did that to my little brother...

well i was playin wit my friends soccer team they were havin a private party thing and my friend askd me if i wanted to go so i did and we had to use pumps well we were in a big area and im laying down like next to a bush and a bee is flying around me like crazy and im all pist of already and then out of no where i get shot right in my head then my bad 3 times ! from like 5 feet away ! and i was like wtf ! y u shoot me ! and he was like dar dar i didnt want to ask wut team u were on and i was like my arm with the band was facing u ! i was so pist i wanted to shoot him from point blank ! o and then we were playin a game ona huge hill and my team had to run up it so in the begging i didnt know my team sprinted to the top and the other team went to the bottom so im creeping along the side i saw guys shooting down ( my team ) so i started to shoot at them cuz i didnt know that the opposite team was down the hill and my guys were at top well good thing i only hit there shoes and they didnt go out =)

I went out to play a couple weekends ago outdoors.

Now my friend says I need to practice playing front, so I don't bother to wear any camo. In fact, I put on a bright blue jersey. You know the one - the blue liquid JT jersey.

Everyone at the field is wearing camo or dark green jerseys except me. I'm also using a Hurricane, so everyone on my side also notices me. However, I would learn that did not mean my side would remember that I was on THEIR side.

The field was wooded and split down the middle by a creek along the side of a steep hill. Our team had to cross the creek and climb the hill. The other team had the plateau on top.

My friend and I play aggressive, and after about 5 minutes have fought our way across the creek and to the top of hill. We peek over the ledge, my friend covers me, and I make a run for it. I successfully reach a small wooded bunker about 40' away from the ledge we're at and I lay down fire for my friend so he can move up. He moves up to the bunker 30' to my right.

Of course, there are three of the other team lighting up my bunker, but hey, we're doing great. :)

Then, on the side of the bunker facing me, yellow splotches start to appear. One splotch to my right, two splotches, three splotches...

Some is shooting at me from behind! One of the other team must have flanked us on the left and gotten behind us on the ledge I'm thinking.

I spin and shoot back. I get the player to duck. I RUN back the 40' to the ledge, slide up, and get ready to bunker him.

I find the poor player cowering behind the ledge. It's one of my own teammates! :mad:

I yell, "Stop shooting at me! I'm on your team!"

He justs looks up at me and says, "Oops."

Then I have to run all the way back to the bunker again.

Amazingly, I survived the whole incident.

After the game, the player apologized again. Then so did ANOTHER team mate, someone who rode in my own car! Apparently he was shooting at me for a while too! Never mind that I'm the only one in bright blue or that I'm wearing a white arm band with a foot long streamer.

Their excuse? There was no way I could have gotten that far ahead of them so I just had to be on the other team, even if I was shooting at the other team! :pissed:

Oh well, at least my friend who wanted me to practice playing front no longer accuses me of being slow to move forward... :laugh:

We were playing wood ball with about 16 guys a few of them were just dumb asses anyway one incident...........My "freind" steve was running along a ridge more like sprinting and all the sudden he stops dead in his tracks runs back like 5-6 steps pulls up and fires about 20 shots into a ditch.......we see the victim climbing out of the ditch only to look back and see his own team member....he yell a few choice words and shot steve 5 times.......but before the game had ended steve apperently got bored so he started shooting me and a few of my pals (we were dead in the base) anyway right after he got up from the 5 shot beating from his pissed off teammate, one of the other stupid and really weak kids that was dead turned he gun way hot and shot steve in the balls sending him to the ground we chronoed the kids gun and it was like 378, 375, 380, oh well he deserved it

well we were playin rec and there was a guy in a bunker while i was in a bunker about 30 feet away and my teammate was in a bunker about 10 feet away from him and so i look out of the corner of my bunker and shoot and then i go to see how much paint i have left and i accidentally fire 3 shots and they bounce off the ground and hit my teammate 2 times but they didnt break:laugh: and i end up getting the guy out and earn my respect back :D

I went to one field full of renting newbies. In the first game, both teams went to opposite sides of the field. I moved up only about 10 feet behind a wide column, and some newbie shot me right in the ankle! The other team was still completely on the other side. There's no way he was aiming for them with that low of a shot. What a way to start the day off!

one time i was playing hyperball and off the break i make it to the forty to this big bunker (its basically a standup bunker that is laying down) and immediately post up on my friend that is in the bunker at about the thirty on my left side (I dont normallypost up but there was no one with an angle on me so i was safe. and i wanted to get him out). any way we exchange some paint when all of a sudden some little b**ch behind me shoots me in the back of the head. It hurt like s**t. I was so mad cause i was in a big bunker and there was no way he hit me by mistake like if he was shooting close to the edge of the bunker. He probably hit me on purpose cause the game before i was on the opposite team and lit up there whole team.

This happened to a guy I was playing with they called game so he starts to walk back and its an indoor filed with 3 sections like this

and hes in the middle one waling back and some kid on his team starts shooting at him and so we all start yelling "GAMES OVER STOP!" cause we were behind the kid shooting and he wouldent stop so one of the guys just shoots him in that *** (but we were like 15 feet away

:pissed: :pissed: STUPID NEWBIES, they were just shooting around a corner , and I WAS IN THE VERY FRONT way infront of them, they hit me in the back of the head THREE TIMES IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT HURT LIIE HELL AND I SHOT AT THEM AND THEY STOPPED< THE REFS YELLED AT THEM LIKE CRAZY :laugh:
