View Full Version : New barrel to inferno
I just bought Inferno Terminator and I think that is too loud for me. It's hard to be sharpshooter or anything because everybody hear me.
I want inferno more quiet and more accurate. What barrel yuo recommend to me?

I personally love the stock 10 inch HellFire barrel. Perfect for me for speedball. Did you ever notice how suprisinly acccurate those suckers are?
Anyways, back on topic. Like I said, I use the stock for speedball. When I play woods, I use a different one. I have a Red Custom Products 14 inch 1-piece barrel. Perfect size for me. It's also ultra quiet, with it's porting and length. I would recommend these for your gun. Also inexpensive. Also comes in 4 sizes, 10/12/14/16 icnhes, and 3 bores, .687/.689/.692. I have the 14 inch .689 one. Red matches the T3's red perfectly.
If you shoot different paint, look at the Equation Design's Multiple Switch barrel with the ported extension. This barrel is going to be mine in a few months, since I now am starting to shoot diiferent brands of paint, and will be playing speedball, and woodsball. This barrel will allow meto ahve different sizes and lengths without buying a whole new barrel. :D
Let me know if you have anymore ??'s.

I personally use a 16" Armson Stealth, and although there are more quiet barrels despite its' name it is a very good and accurate barrel at a reasonable price. Also the thread matches 100% if you have the "spyder threaded" inferno.
Threading on the newer Inferno models, from after 1998, are "Spyder" or sort of spyder. Those who have tried this know what I mean. This is especially true for the Terminator models with chrome finish. On some brands of barrels you may need to force the barrel thread into the threading on the marker. This does not feel good to do and I avoided buying a Dye Aluminum because of this.
According to the manufacturer Arrow Precision the marker thread is not at fault here, it's the barrelmakers who make it a difficult fit.
I've heard of some "spyder" barrels not fitting some Kingman Spyder markers either, so they may well be right.
The Armson Stealth does have a 100% easy fit, which is very nice, but most other aftermarket spyder barrels should work with some force. If you have the guts to try.

Yes, Paintballdiablo, I have a brand new Inferno Terminator T3.
I love it! Looks great, plays great and is more than worth the price I paid ($149 + $100 UPS shipping to Europe, Sweden).
I suppose since I've noticed you read another of my replies at another thread you may already know this, but...
My current setup is:
Inferno Terminator T3 with Harley chrome/black finish and double trigger, Dye sticky grip, matching black Armson Stealth 16", Java 12v clear with orange aftermarket impeller, custom steel bar stock, Deluxe coil remote with slide-check (red), 20oz CO2 tank, I&I 4+1 pack, JT Proteus goggles.
Zeeh, I have some additional info about the The Armson stealth: It's actually designed to negate pressure turbulence in blow-back markers (i.e. any inferno), and works much better with that type of marker than with a blow-forward that is usually used to test barrels for reviews. Pretty cool, I think.
If it's better than the barres Paintballdiablo mentioned or not I really can't say. Most aftermarket barrels are quite good though.

OK, I'll start a thread for Inferno marker pics. This one is supposed to be about barrels. :)
I'll try to get a pic of my marker as soon as possible.

My e-mail is: johan.gemvik@chello.se
Mail away guys!
I just opened a new thread for posting inferno markers. Why not talk about the pics there in stead? I could probably fix the pic format for posting.

well, I have a DYE Stainless steel and it makes my gun damn quiet, but I don't think its the barrel that makes my gun quiet. cause I have put the stock one on too and theres no difference between the sounds. I think its the pressure that I'm runnning at, which to this day I have no idea what it is set at, but just one day I was really bored so I grabed my inferno and I looked at my palmer stabilizer and I took an allen wrench and I turn it left and right and all the way around and all the way back and then I just randomly set it to a position that I thought felt right and to this day my gun has been quieter then any other gun that I've heard, even immpys and cockers and angels can't compare to how quiet my gun is. No lie I have shot a stream of 5 balls to a guy that was 10 ft. in front of me and he only noticed that I was shooting at him when the first ball hit him. I'll never forget that day. On that day I declared my gun....awesome......I think regs help out a lot and if you have a nicely ported barrel that will make it even more quieter.......
