The little "mousetrapish" spring that lets the trigger spring back might be the problem, just open up the gun and look at it.

bunker_guy send me the pic and i should be able to tell you what is wrong with it. it sounds like the spring is either not in there anymore or the spring got put in wrong when the saftey got put back in

Look, when the Brass Eagle guys start telling you the Talon sucks, they might have a point. Get a Rainmaker. Send it to me for a trigger job. It may take a while so be prepared to wait. Like for the rest of your life.

Dont't listen to them, they are just arrogant little *******s that think since they own a Spyder they are better. PM me a pic of your friend's Talon (just take of one side and take pic of the whole internals.) and I will find the prob, I can take apart and put back together a Talon blindfolded (no-joke) tell him if he feels his gun cant compare to an *average* gun to just drop me a line at IRPaintballer@pbreview.com and I will tell him how to make a full auto Talon for under $120. I can also tell him how to make custom trigger job, barrel extension, powerfeed, polished and muted internals, valve silencing, velocity increasing, C/A adapter, custom paint jobs barrel porting, double trigger, and a few more things. Most of these mods are at the Talons owners group. I did all this for my cousin's Talon and now it is better then my Stingray, his old Zap point zero, and my best friend's Spyder. Beat that... Oh yeh you *** Tippy owners next time you say don't get a BE gun, get a Tippman or Spyder, stop trying to put your guns name in there to make it sound like it's better then a Brass Eagle. tell the truth, only say Spyder.

Woah woah woah. Hey, I'm not knocking BE. I don't understand why people do sometimes. Let's see....the best masks money can buy.....the creators of the Revvy...let's not forget the Rainmaker...and I'm not saying SPyder rule, even though I own one. Let me tell you, until I got a new frame, I HATED the staggered holes. And the stupid metric screws? And what's up with MICROline?
Now, on to bashing people about their guns....what was that comment to Tippy owners?
Now, if I really hated BE, would I reccomend a Rainmaker? And $120 for a full-auto Talon? Are you nuts? Try $170 for a rainmaker, a gun you can actually USE in tournaments.

Finally, hey, come on, most of the BE people admit the Talon sucks. I'm ready willing and able to admit the Spyder Sport sucks. All our "pet" companies as you like to think we have do stupid things, including WDP. Come on, the IR3 is the latest Angel and they give it that ugly trigger guard that goes all the way to the bottom of the grip for no reason?
Like I said before, if someone shows up at your field with a Talon, laugh WITH them, not at them, and loan him your spare gun. You wanna throw a bit of paint in your backyard? Fine, Talons work. But if you want to actually play competetivly, you're going to need to spend about $80 or more, unless you're talking Traccer or something like that. Unless your opponents are using guns $40 and less, trust me, your Talon is better replaced by a slingshot. Why sink $120 into "tricking" one out, when you can take $170 and buy a Rainmaker? I mean, really, when you consider the Talon itself costs $20, you're only talking a $30 difference.

I'd just like to say its really funny that a brass eagle owner is attacking other gun companys. Especially tippys. They did make the first ever auto gun and turned more than a few heads with that flatline barrel. Plus you can run themover with cars and theyll be fine. If you did that with a brass eagle you would be picking it up till next month

The stingray family of guns (Stingray I, II, Ice, Tigershark, Tigershark Crystal) you can shoot with a .22 in the receiver and still shoot. And you can run them over. I dont think that that's bad durability.

never mind he just threw it away. lol. it was his sisters anyways.

Hey murph, you can shoot a Stingray series in the reciever cuz it's got so much extra plastic. Most other guns are trimmed and milled to the point where you put a hole ANYWHERE in the receiver it'll go through a critical spot. I can think of at least three places where you can drill right through the Stingray, no harm done.

I'd rather have a tippmann than a spyder ANY day of the week. They are well made... All of them... If you want a nice spyder you'll have to go for one of the higher-end ones. The low-end ones can be bought for cheaper as any similar clone. (rebel, genesis, genie, joker)

So in short, tippmanns I feel are a better buy. They have just as high-tech available upgrades, are more reliable, faster, leak less, break less paint and (god forbid) I think they look cooler.

I guess I didn't read your post completely. and you didn't read mine completely Everything I put in my previous post for tricking it out (full auto, barrel extension, shortened trigger pull, etc.) costs less then $120, and from my personal experience I would hafta say my cousin's Talon is better then ANY Rainmaker, unless maybe it had no stock parts left, but then it would cost you around $500 and by then you could by a even better gun without the "label of shame".

The stingray guns do not have so much extra plastic except maybe that little support thingy on the front of the trigger frame I shot mine in the hammer tube (on purpose) and it still shot cause the hammer tube is stainless steel-lined. Which is a good thing. But the Tigershark, I woulda bent the power tube and had to buy a new one, but it still woulda fired.

Weeeeird........
Well, hey, whatever works man, whatever works. I got doubts about that Talon of yours, but till I see it's performance firsthand, I'm not about to bring it down, it just might bring ME down. Still, I'm a big fan of the Rainmaker and I think it'll be kinda hard to beat. I was gonna buy one but about 20 minutes ago I got a $150 speeding ticket. Oh well.

The talon aint mine, it's my friends that I constructed for him since he sucks with a hacksaw and epoxy. I personally prefer not to use talons unless I can fit it with a metal barrel, and I havent been able to find another Black Maxx that has blown up since the recall (I picked up the one for my friend's off a blown up blacky.)
Trust me, it does in fact perform well.

I wonder how we found out the stingray was bulletproof?
I can see it now...
Some guy, just any old joe, was out in his back yard plinking cans with his stingray and all of the sudden it jams. It jams sooo bad that after pulling on the cocking knob for ten minutes he throws it against the wall. Nothing happens, the stingray is a little scratched but fine. The guy gets even more pissed off and throws it a couple more times, causing minimal damage to the stingray. "I'll teach that ****ing piece of **** who's boss" he thinks as he walks to the gun cabinet. After emptying the clip he inspects the carcass. He notices there is still a nine ounce attached and pulls the trigger. It fires! shooting it had unjammed the bolt and amazingly left the valve unharmed! He thinks his stingray is the greatest gun on earth now and he goes to pbreview to tell how durable and great stingrays are.

THE END

Yeah, id say look further than em1 though too. Em1 and Rainmaker are ok, i guess. But if i spent 600 dollars (pbreviews msrp cost of em1)on an em1 and realized i couldv'e had a shocker, cocker, mag, impy, bushy, timmy, etc. i'd be awful pissed.
