X chamber and Bottom Line"?

I have a botom line for my spyder compact. If I get a X chamber will I need to get a shorter hose, or will the one I already have work.

You will most likly need a shorter hose, less 1 or 2 inches. If you have a steel hose, then you will need to buy a new one. But if you have a macro/micro line then you can just cut to fit.
