HELP me CHOOSE A BARREL!!!!!! [Archive]

I want an ALL CHROME (or nickel) barrel for my new Vertical feed Cocker that is coming in the mail.......the only decent looking one i know of is the CP......can anyone show me some other ones??????

I really like CP barrels. I own 2 for my cocker. I have a black 12" .689 and 12" chrome .685. I really like the .685 and hardly use the other except for big paint. I highly recomend them. I love mine. I use to know of a website you can custom order it from for different bore sizes. I will find the site and post it.

I almost forgot. It doesn't cost extra for chrome either.

Why are you more interested in looks than performance? Form follows function, the function being the ability to direct paint on a straight path and hit your target. (Plus noise level, and range) Screw cosmetics if you could have a better performing gun rather than a "prettier" gun.

LOL fenris needs to take a DEEP breath......did i say i'm not concerned about preformace???? i just said i wanted a chrome barrel WOOPTIDOO.

to mag.....yes i like the CPs too but the inside of my buddies was scratched to hell after only one game with it.....ONE GAME!

you can order all chrome alluminum or whatever that shiny color is all american barrels off the smart parts website get a chrome freak kit so you can have one barrel multiple bore sizes.

what i really WANT is a freak with a stainless back and a black 12" front......but i'm not going for that unless i can pick up a Stainless back for preatty darn cheap!

I'm with magicsly1. I love my CP barrels. They work wonders. Get the two piece if you can.

yeah i had a stainless on my mag.......it was great except WAY too heavy.....wow that thing was a tank!

there's the DYE stainless steel barrel. Looks sweet and has really good reviews. It's heavy though.

ACI Gradditi Series is cool its not all chrom but it has cool flames at the end on a silver background. It also shoots very well.

JT 2 piece, you could get an aluminum back (my preference) and a chrome tip see all chrome (or chrome-like). Shoots good!

haha shell out the extra cash and get a P&P Dye boomer for like i think....well i know its between 150 and $200.....shoots like a normal boom but 4 sum reason cost more!!!

Or just get a stainless barrel (gotta warn u that stainless puts lots of pressure on the paint)

you didnt say ou wanted a chrome bnarrel you said the only decent looking one was the CP, and vernis is right looks comme secoend unless you have a cocker;)

i would try the AA2002 or dye ultra light chrome

Yeah they are right that cosmetics does not help ur game. Maybe in some magical way it does but i doubt it. There is always of having cosmetics AND functionality (i think thats why the P&P boomsticks cost so much) but that costs more. So get a good barrel that is chrome. The suggestions i had were good barrels that were chrome.

also on a side note where did magicsly get that buddy icon that is "klepto buddy" i want that 4 my AIM.:)

I've heard good things about the bigshot and the ultralight. I know the bigshot comes in chrome and i think the ultralight does too.

I got one of those OTP Dream Systems and Its nice. Excellent accuracy and there are 5 inserts to match paint. The porting is good and this mug is slient. I highly recommend them

dye stainless steel is a great barrel and for 60 dollars at some places (gotta look) it beats anythign is its class but it is heavy if u have say a 9 ounce on but anything larger it balances it out any nitro is balanced. later also good barrel is the stainless steel big shot

Get a chrome Teardrop from pbgear.com. Super cheap! Mine was $40, you'll have enough left over to buy tons of ill ****!!!

i just got my red/black 2k2 AA. Let me tell ya, its looks so sweet on my black and red setup (black/red vigilante, red PB drop) it makes you drool:D
