Is this rat worth the money? or can i upgrade a stock impulse to be equal to a rat for less than $700?

I would say no. Get it from FOM

FOM probably gets a discount for bulk batches of Milling/Ano, plus he barely makes a profit on what he sells. He does all the work for you....I think it's better to leave it to the pros.

The RAT is definately worth it. To up your stock Impy you're gonna spend more $$$ and it won't look nearly as cool. Plus they warranty it, and it all comes installed and working.

Have you ever heard someone say they didn't like their RAT?

yeah rats have lifetime warranty too, so not only are the fully upgraded, look good, but they also will last forever

You MIGHT be able to make a stock body imp with the same upgrades as the rat, but you would have to install all of it, you wouldn't get a milled body, highrise, and valve cap. You wouldnt get everything match anno'd, and you wouldnt have the warrenty from epbo like the rat has.

Legend is right.....I just added it up since nobody else was.

Basically, you can get a stock Imp with all the performance upgrades the Rat has for the same price. You wouldn't get the anodizing, the milling, or the custom front cap, high rise, or warranty.
