I just played there and I liked the place. Fields were fun and diverse. I really enjoyed the speedball fields. There weren't enough people to play some of the bigger fields though. Quick turnaround as opposed to CPX which makes you wait and wait and wait........ My friends and I had a good time and would go back except for the paint prices.
Opium, ever try Patriot Paintball?

Nope I've only been to OP and Badlandz (each 1 time) Badlandz is cool b/c they let you bring your own paint. Also 25$ entry fee but then its free air :)

Come check out Patriot. Patriot has several different types of fields, a couple of woods fields, a couple of scenario fields, an ultimate airball field, and coming soon a 7 man hyperball field.
Good reffing, quick game turnarounds, and good rental equipment.
I dont work there, but am sponsored by them, and am good friends with the owners. They bought the play last August and are constantly doing things to make the field a better place.

that looks like an hour and half from me. Are they really strict like at challenge park where you see like 5 people day get kicked out or like badlandz where you can play by yourselves if you want. I can't stand challenge they are to strict and to slow to play. How mcuh is paint and all?

I was thinking about going to Badlandz this weekend to try it out. I haven't been there in a couple of years. Are they pretty strict there? When I went last time, they weren't.
How were the open games?
Opium

refs aren't strict at all..only like 1 or 2 refs on one field anyway. Open games are cool, lots of good people there also...w00t best part, BYOP!!! (just goto pbgear and pickup a case of marbs or pmi for like 50 or some bucks)

I must of confused everyone. Badlandz kicks azz. There are normally like 3 people in the shack and like 1 or 2 refs. I was talking about Challenge Park being strict as hell. Badlandz is great not a good place for a rental

Don't mess with Ogar (the owner) he's crazy

I'll probably go to BadLandz for the big game in mid June. Its a Wayne Dollack scenario so that should be pretty good. Have you guys tried BlastCamp out in Hobart? That place rocks!

You guys ever been to that extreme sports place. They have like a city type field w/ cars, buildings, roads, and sidewalks... but they have half pipes and stuff for like skateboarding and other stuff like that.

CPX is cool the skatepark is better for bikes because it is bigger stuff. As far as paintball it is pretty cool it does take extremely long for games. They are 15 minute games. Everyfield you walk to you play twice. They have to crono you everytime. Price isn't that bad 15 bucks to get in 20 bucks for 500. They are allmost all scenerio that's what I don't really like there are no normal fields. Over all it is pretty cool though.

CPX is a good place to play. Its well run. They are pretty strict on safety which really is a good thing. The fields are good. There are so many different fields to play from. I've played there about 7 times and still haven't seen everything.
The wait times can suck though depending on where you play. I like quick turnaround and they don't have enough of that.
Paint prices aren't that bad. $20 for 500 less quality paintballs or you can get PMI Premiums for $25 for 500.
Opium, if you are interested in the big game at Badlandz let me know. I am thinking of going June 8th for 1/2 day. I'll just go to ActionVillage and score 2,000 rounds of JT Paintballs for $35.

badlandz kicks ***. Yah, i aggrea, it not a good place to rent, but if u have ur own gun and some paint, its awsome, and free air. Preety cheap, 25 bucks, sometimes half pirce. Check on the site. buyshocktech.com
OP is okay, ive been their twice. Expesive as hell. sometimes they have free admision or something. Worth going. op has awsome woods fields.

He said it's on their website.
I'll have to check it out. I'm a regular at CPX. membership there isn't to expensive ($100), and you get 40 $2.50 off 500 balls coupons, so if you go a few times, it pays for itself, and if you use all the coupons, it's been well worth it.
Anyone here been to Paintball Blitz? I'm heading there for Grease Santa 2002, and the only person I know who goes there regularly is sponsored by them, so he's not the most impartial person.
