Okay, I'm probably going to be buying another marker soon (my wife is eyeing mine too much), but I decided that I want a red and silver color combo. I have been looking at angels, but I really want another RAT. So with a little bit of photoshoping I came up with this. FOM maybe you will be able to produce this, if you do hold one for me, because I will buy it.

You could bead blast/polish the silver parts by hand. Many Rat Dogs have parts done like this, and it works great.

If you dont have access to this equipment, maybe, just maybe, epbo would do it. But that is a LOT of time on the polishing wheel, and time is something they are very short on.

Are you saying that I could polish a raw milled body and parts myself, then send it back to you guys, and then you would have the parts annodized????

If so let me know, I might be interested in working something out with you guys.

What I was saying is he could buy a Superman Rat and polish out all the blue, that would make his "dardevil" rat.

All rats are anno'd while they are being built (At smart parts). They will not sell just the bodies, the only parts in the shop to be sold by themselves in the gas thru, the highrise and the valve cap. There are anno shops who will do what you are asking, I would sugeest http://www.g3pb.com and http://www.professionalpaintball.com. They have cheap anno prices and do great work.

I also had another question though, why will Smart Parts not polish the Impulses before they are annodized, while the bodies on the Shockers are all polished up and nice looking. So I guess my question is why do they polish Shockers, but not Impulses???

We don't know.

If you notice the only custom polished imps out there are rats. Demonices, Nastys, Toxics, etc are all bead blasted too.

For some reason they don't like doing polished customs, yet most of their stock guns are polished, with the bead blast being an "option."

smooth photoshop work. i saw some other guy's photoshop work, showing what his impulse would look like when it was done. it looked like crap, all the parts were off scale and everything. that sucks though, no more glossys.
