Hi, i guess im a newbie to paintball. Ive played maybe 3-4 times, but they all were a long time ago (maybe 3-4 years). I have a couple of questions:
1.What does everyone think of the excellerator 4.0?
2.This one might sound dumb...Are there restrictions on what markers I can use for games at paintball parks? Like if I were to get a Custom98, would I not be able to play in certain game types? what about if i used a spyder shutter or excellerator 4.0?
3.When I look at tanks on online shops they show them as 7,9,12,20oz and 51,68,88ci. I know the larger the number of ounces or CI the longer the tank will last, but what is CI and how is it different then ounces?
These might seem dumb, but im newbie! thanks for answering.

1.well, i havent tried the excellerator out yet, cannot give reccommendation

2. There are not many restrictions on the type of marker that you are using. First, there is a seperation between stock or pump guns verus the semi autos. But regardless if you have a spyder or an angel you can play in the same game. One restriction for safety would be to remove the full auto or burst modes from the full auto markers

CI= cubic inch. That is a measurement for Compressed air tanks. It determines how large the tank is. The PSI determines how much pressure the tank can hold.

to give estimate, 20 oz takes 1000 shots, 16 about 800, 14 650, a 12 is 500 and never used a 9. these are my experiences in New england where weather changes. multiply the ci by ten to get number of shots ie-88 ci gets 880 shots. the pressure is pressure you will shoot at. nitro is more expensice and is more consistent, but as a newbie you should get a co2, dont need nitro now

most all semi auto markers are set up to use CO2. Electric guns should use N2.
