I may be getting a phantom, it depends if it turns out to be the marker Im looking for.....If I do get it, how can i do this?

Also....

As of now I got a 98 custom with a Dye Boomstick. The thing is, im planning on getting something by the end of summer and don't want to rush into buying like my Tippmann. I want to be a hardcore sniper when I play paintball. I know most newbies think they wanna be a sniper, but I love snipers. I got T-shirts with snipers, I got camo in my room, I got posters, I got books, and so on and so on. So money is no object, what set up should I get....for being an all out sniper? Also, any links would help too. My current set up is:

Tippmann 98 custom (black)

14" Dye Boomstick

12 Volt VL Revolution (sp?)

Drop Forward (not sure of type)

4 + 0 Dye Attack Pack

JT Spectra Goggles

Woodland Goggle Skinz

Pants + Shirt BDUs

20oz tank

Spare 16 oz tank

Pro Team Products Model 98 f/x Collapsible

Im going to be playing with this over the summer to get used paintball and learn basic skills. But by the end of summer I plan on having a new setup aimed **compleatly** toward snipeing (sp?). Hopefully somebody can help me out. Thanx in advance if you can.

Well for the punishers phantom you could always contact the person who made it (at least I think he made that one)
http://www.airsoldier.com/~punisher is his website

As for snipering, well you could get a stock phantom (10 round loader / 12 Gram changer) with a nice 14" nickel barrel. That would make an ultra light marker where every single shot counts. Phantoms are accurate in that you have to aim every single shot and not just fling 20 balls at your opponent.

Yes, that gun is The Rifleman, I think. Punisher is the only one that I know of who has done that. In terms of being a sniper, it's kind of tough given the limited range and accuracy of paintball guns. Playing smart is certainly an option though, and a pump will help force you to do that.

don't limit yourself to being a sniper though, true it is that pump players going against high end markers need most of the vital traits that a sniper needs, its uch more fun to try and root out your opponents. but if you want to become a sniper, the phantom is a strait shootin sun of a gun.
