A-5 will have that huge upgrade path the m98 is famous for in the coming months, however the excellerator 6.0 has everything you could want RIGHT NOW. Jt barrels are really good in my experience, the electro grip frame is awesome, the gun looks sexier than all hell, the vert feed gives it a great balance and high ROF. Now, the A-5 has some shortcomings that the JT lacks. First, the star feed loader is on the front and on the right hand side, full of paint it's off-balance, and hard to snapshoot with. However it will keep pace with any trigger finger there is. But, the JT's most major shortcoming is that, for a stacked blowback design, it's rather expensive despite the fact that it comes tricked out stock.

hey i just recieved my 6.0 today and it is awesome! Very nicely constructed but i got my 6.0 for only 280 while on actionvillage.com the A-5 is $330 so the 6.0 is cheaper and more "tricked out" like that other guy said. In response to your questions the only voice prompt is that a voice says that there is "30 seconds remaining" then 20 then 10 its all about game time left. It vibrates when there is 30 then 20 then 10 seconds left simalar to what angels do. I am very happy with my 6 and recommend that you get an electronic marker without having to upgrade 5 times on the a5 before you get what you want plus like 200 dollars it will cost you! 6.0 all the way

I say for scenarios I'd take the a-5 cuz it looks like a German sub machine gun, but for regular play like woods and speedball, I'd take the 6.0 especially if it's just like the 4.0, but improved. All those other 4.0 owners will know what I'm talkin about.

I'd take a JT 6.0 any day of the week. That gun is sexy as all hell. I heard it talks to you? I wonder how that sounds. If it sounds like a hot woman im gonna sell my automag and get one :D

It just counts down for you like tells you when theres 30, 20, and 10 seconds left in you game.

I personally like the A-5.....they feed really fast. Plus, black is good for staying concealed. I hope you were joking about being a good barrel.....it's .692 bore, WAYYYYYY to big for basically any paint.

You must've not shot it, no matter what the paint fit, it shoots great.

does the a5 make noise when it shoots because of the hopper? if so that would ruin the idea of staying concealed if the hopper is making noise giving away your position

The A-5 cyclone feed is the fasteist loader there is. Its uses the gas in the tank so the faster you shoot the faster it will force the paint down. But I know what you might say "it will break paint" but since its on a tippmann it cant fire that fast. Ive used both and ide have to say the A-5. Its really not as big as people say its bulky but small. loads fast and is silent. The JT is so annoying when it counts odwn the time. It beeps every 5 mins and starts to count down every 10 secs when you have about a min left.

I would get the JT If I were you!! The A5 just looks cheesy to me! The only way that I would recommend an A5 is if you only play woods- considering thats what it was designed for! I have seen the 6.0 in action, I was really suprised! It looked and shot really well.

To tell you the truth they are both great guns
but IMO id get the JT gun over the A-5
The jt is electric and it has a very sleek look to it
The A-5 comes with a built in agitated hopper* but i really dont like the look of it(thats one huge @**ed hopper!!!)
But then again, its not what it looks like, its how it shoots correct?

*- its not really an "agitated hopper" its a cyclone feeding system which is better than agitated IMO...kinda reminds me of a bubble gum dispenser :)
