I was using all green shelled midnight, and it was choping still. I broke about 4 balls the whole day, when people with spyders and tippmanns were breaking none. Didn't look good for the impulse. So why do you think i was choping still?

If you were using vision and you know for sure that the vision was on and set correctly, then there is no way that you were chopping paint. You might have been breaking balls in the barrel which could be caused by a bad paint to barrel match. Check your bolt..is there paint on the bolt?

my theory of why i was still choping is this. I had a too small insert in my freak, because i never used midnight before with it and forgot to check and see if the insert was ok. Then one broke in the barrel, got a little bit of paint on the vision eye, and then the vision eye thought there was a paintball in all the time, so it would work proporly. My first break was mostly in the barrel, but the next couple were definate chops. So i think it was the barrel and not the vision.

>Barrel could be.<
>Setting, could be.<
>Make sure u have the vision activated. (mine has three modes; to the left the eye is OFF, in the middle is were you set the eyes sensitivity, and the right makes the eye activated).<
>>But, midnight paint is very dark and very shiny. The darkness, and believe it or not the shininess is a major factor, in off setting the eye. I don't use midnight paint for these reasons. Even if u did set the eye to the most sensitive reading, sometimes it still won't read it. Midnight paint was the ONLY paint that i have ever had trouble with.<<

my bad yo!!!!
The LEFT is when it is activated, the right is when it is NOT activated.
