sputtering problem

i got my new 88ci 3000psi pure energy tank and got it filled. i screwed it in and took a shot. it sputtered like crazy till i unscrewed it. it works flawlessly with co2. please help!

Ok it could be many things. First if you have a regulater on your gun and its not adjusted properly it could make it sputter. Second it could be a tank because it is new and stuff. Third to much pressure it could be messing with the valve. WHat kind of gun do you have?

i have a tricked out tlplus, but its fine now. i just had to raise the psi a little...

yeah, same w/ mine, i just put a gauge on it and that helps too
