I hate it when people think alaska is some desolate land where theres always snow and its -4,000 degrees below farenheit.

I have more, but they aren't really appropriate for a family site.

UTladies man...Your hiliarious...can't stop laughing...So tell me, how does it feel to be in the SECOND largest state?? It's obvious you don't know much about this state, where I have lived for the past 12 years.
To everyone else, teams that I know of in Alaska: Dough Boyz(or is it "s" not sure:confused: ), FUBAR, used to be Sector 7Gs' home team, Chaos Therory(not sure if they are still together), Arctic Warriors, and that's about all that I know of.
Chaos Therory had a web sight and I believe that the Dough Boyz do also, not totally sure.
For those in the Fairbanks/North Pole area there is polarpaintball.com. We're a group of people that get together and play some outlaw/recball, BUT SAFELY. Our rules are on that site. Feel free to take a look.

pretty great site...only thing that would confuse me about ur rules is the 3 shot burst taking turns thing
Headhunter

This rule was incorperated to ensure that no player would get turned into a walking pile of goo before they could say "OUT".
We had to modify the rule to include double teaming or when the odds are clearly not in a players favour.
To explain simply(have to be somewhere soon) you pull your trigger 3 times, mentally count 1,2; fire 3 more again.
The change we had to add
If you are working in a team and there is another player with you, 1 of you is the primary shooter. the other is a spotter or backup. The target player is allowed to engage both players at the same time, but not the other way around. This will prevent over-shooting, even if it wasn't by just one player.
Personally, I'd rather be hit by 3 ball than 20+, you know what I mean? :D

First off, you may have more land area, but we sure have a lot more people...
Secondly, I was just playing to the "Southerners don't know **** about Alaska" comments. I know what Alaska is like, I have relatives that just recently moved from there. I just thought the pics were funny. I have others for other states, but they don't make any damned sense in the Alaska thread, now do they?

In fact I did find the pictures rather amusing, just picking on you:D .
You may have more people, but with all this land it makes it easier to hide the bodies of idiotic tourist who like to drive their land whale at 35mph in a 65mph zone and try and pet a bear(kinda funny actually). I'm sure you know what the tourist thing is like:D

i come to live up in alaska for six months every summer and i know what you mean. every other friggin thing on the road is a tourist in a motor home bigger than my own house driving 40 mph under the speed limit. any of you ever fish in ship creek? the silvers are finally in

Obviously there aren't many Texans visiting... We'd drive a pickup 95 in a 65 while the passanger tries to shoot a bear.

2 problems with that though:
1- unless passenger is strapped in a chair, in the bed of the trunk, 95mph you'd never get a decent shot . Roads alittle
bumpy:D
2- bears don't hang around the highways too often.
Serious question, have you ever been up here? If so what part?; If not, you have to come up sometime, fishing & dip-netting in the summer(of course piantball), and September is moose, caribou, and sheep and goat. Black bear is 3 a year, all year, brown or grizzley is I believe 1 every 5 years(not totally sure, don't have the game book in front of me)

Of course you'd get off a good shot... With the array of fully automatic weapons our local milita nuts sell at the gun shows, we've got accuracy by volume. :D
No, I've never been... maybe someday... but I have no money or time for a vacation. Besides, anything lower than 76 is too freakin' cold. :P

 , so much for the meat or trophy:D
If and when you get the chance, let me know, maybe we can met and play some paintball or do some fishing or something. Never been to Texas, my Boss went to Ft. Sam Houston high school. She's a military brat. She wants to go back on day for a vacation but I told her it's too friggin hot down there, even in the winter time.:P

I've actually been in Wisconsin during the summer, and a few short trips in the winter and spring. Summer and Spring were nice. In february when there is a foot of snow on the ground and everyone is like "Oh, this is nothing..." it's too damned cold. When someone leaves the steps to the equipment truck open all night, and they get ice on them, and there are no hand rails, and you slip and fall into that foot of snow in exercise shorts and a t-shirt, it's too damned cold. There isn't supposed to be white stuff on the ground! Can't you people get that?
