CO2 Leaks

I was about to start a round of paintball, and I put the co2 in and it started leaking (sounded like it was coming from the front of the gun). It wasn't an O-ring or the cupseal when i disassembled it. What else is causing the co2 to leak?

Your co2 tank might be low on co2, or the valve might have a scratch on it. OR it's one of the mysterious leaks that happen, but then dissapear after a while..

I have noticed on my marker...if the bolt is not cocked..the striker rests on the valve pin and doesn't let the cup seal all the way..be sure your marker is cocked before you screw in the tank...

The only time I've vented gas through the barrel was when the o-ring on the tank was bad. Replaced it and everything was fine.

Of course I'm so OLD and DECREPID that I often vent gas from other places, eh TL. :eek:

The best way to find where the leak is coming from is to pu soapy water on your gun. Where the bubbles start coming from is were your leak is.

haha i bet Muckraker...*sniff* ew what's taht odor?? :P haha but yeah..it might be the cup seal, bolt, co2 tank, or the valve pin.

dont worry, when i got my cocker, even though i used nitro, there was still a little leak in the asa adapter. it went away after awhile. co2 sucks, use nitro.

i dont care what u say, my nitro tank was 70 bucks, now i know that is kinda pricey, but common. just forget about that jersey or just dont buy 2 cases of paint, then u could easily afford it.

Brazen, these personal attacks have to stop now! Do not come here telling them they should get n2, and co2 is crap. If someone wants to go n2 and has the money they will. They do not need your smart mouth telling them.
