I just got a freak and i was wondering if there is any right way to get the inserts in back. Because i just pushed them in there and it's hard to do.plus sometimes when im pushing an insert in, it makes a slight metal against metal sound, am i damaging anything or is this normal.

The insert has to be in there tightly or else it will move around while playing.

Some people put a drop of oil on the outside of the insert as they slide it in the back so its easier to do so.

About the metal sound. Its just the outside of the insert and since only the inside of the insert actually matters, its seems fine to me.

Well I have the FREAK back with a 14inch All American front.

The All American porting starts right where you screw it in the FREAK back.

Its really quiet but isn't the most air efficient gun so I wouldn't suggest it with a super low pressure gun with a small air tank.

yeah, i got a teardrop front cause i wanted a 12 inch barrel. I hear the all american front is nice, though. So does anyone else have any insight on how to get the inserts in/out?

Just oil the O-rings on the inside of the freak back.
