ok at bbt they have a crossfire steel stubby 68 ci tank for 120, then they have the vigilante reg for about 50 (i think) so if i get that and a bigger drop it'll come out to about 200 for the whole system, hows that sounds?
does anybody know if these crossfire stubby steel tanks are good?

you gotta hear this, i got straight a's so my dad payed for half the set up, then when i called bbt, they didn't have the stubby so a got a regular, one thats $20 more, he didn't even care so i got a whole nitro set up (tank, second reg, bigger drop) for $120 originally i was gunna pay that much for just a tank

yeah when i decide to move from my spyder chances are i still wont have a job so i'm gunna go for an impulse, but i change my mind so much it might be a bushmaster, matrix or even intimidator

out of the three... go for a timmy or matrix...
however, if you upgrade to a better gun... you might as well upgrade to a better air system...
when you have a scuba tank... fill your tank every 1000 psi, it will last longer than filling your whole tank over and over...

what do you mean?

what i mean... lets say for example... you filled up your scuba tank, but you forgot to fill your regular tank (the one you use on the gun). don't fill to the max rate that your tank can approximately hold... i.e. 2500 psi (yours is a 68/3000 psi). and you just fill up every 2500 psi... this will last you about 3-5 complete fills. However, you will lose alot of air in the process... about 1-2 complete fills.
If you fill every 1000 psi, meaning no pressure drop off, of from the regular tank, and scuba tank. it will last about 5-7 complete fills... meaning you will not lose air in the process...
this differs from 3000 psi tank to 4500 psi tanks... but the concept is all the same. my friend told me this, and the last time i filled my scuba tank, was almost 6 weeks ago. I usually put into to my regular tank about 1000 psi of air... that will last for me 400-600 shots, depending on my own rof.
