I decided to upgrade to a automag because everyone is getting cockers and I wannted somthing different that I can fix by my self BUT i heard that they are horrible with co2 so im gonna get a 48ci nitro tank but the only place that will fill them is 45 min away so how many shots will I get on a Stock Mag and since i wont have anymore money to buy anythig else and how well they work with the sp boss or should i spend the extra 10 bucks and get the sp tear drop

How many shots on a 48/3000....uh...I think about 500-600.

Barrel: I get anything Smart Parts. I used a fellow ref's brand new AA 12" on my mag, shooting Big Ball, and it was sweet.

Get a cocker, you can fix it yourself and it will be cheaper if your trying to save a little money.

THROW THE AUTO F_A_G IN THE TRASH CAN AND SPIT ON IT. THEN LIGHT IT ON FIRE AND PRESS CONTROL ALT DELETE!

ummm, what would ctrl+alt+del do to fix his mag problem?

and, you can still use CO2 on a mag, u just need a remote or an anti-siphon tank on it. and an x-chamber wouldn't hurt too.

I could say the same thing about a cocker ,but I got too much respect for some of the people that own them.
but then cockerboy your name says it all.

Mags HATE liquid co2. They run fine on the gasseous stuff but dispise the liquid. I ran my mag on c02 using a remote system for almost a year. The only problem that I ever had was the day I played in four feet of snow. I decided to go with an on-gun system (which you can't do on a mag unless you live in flordia or have a expansion chamber in which case the gun usually works fine) so I bought a psycho ballistics dropfoward and a crossfire 68/3000 nitro tank. Last weekend when I played I got about 700 shots out of my tank so you're thinking around 400-500 shots per tank of 48ci 3000psi. If I were you, I would either save up for a crossfire tank (169$) or the new Kingman 48ci 4500psi tanks (225$)

I know some people who run c02 off a mag w/o a X chamber or remote. They just plop on a Anti-Siphon tank. Tey say it depends how well you maintain your gun.

Most people that bash mags havent even shot them. Most people after they shoot a mag will throw away there stock cocker and buy a mag. (Well not really, but i know people who have sold their cockers for mags, or own both, and use their mag more.)Stock mags are so much better then stock cockers...Tricked mags and cockers are about the same, but I prefer the feel of mags. Not all those moving parts.

i work in a paintball shop. ive shot rt, emag, stock mags, and a few with some toys. i live in colorado and everyone here who doesnt have a really tight set up as far as air systems and all that goes has soooo many problems. the trigger on mags is ok but i really think the cocker trigger is nicer (for me at least). so just so you know ive shot them and for me the cocker is better quality and financially for me. thas just my opinion. im not trying to bash mags cuz i know a few really good players who have them but for me and my circumstances they are *** and it would be really *** for me to own one. and by the way ive got a freeflow not a stock cocker!

I once played like 5 games with a hella nice mag, double finger trigger, nitro, zbody and a nice barrel (don't know what it was). But I still preffered my cocker over it and my cocker wasn't super tricked out, it had a nice reg, stock pnuematics, a new bolt, a good barrel, metal frame, dropforward and was running on co2, the rest was stock 2000. The reason is that the cockers trigger is snappier (the mags trigger is like a shorter spyder trigger), cocker is quieter and more accurate (don't want to start any thing about the cocker accuracy thing, but it was more accurate). I didn't give rip if the mag was smaller, quite frankly I didn't notice any difference from having a gun that is 1 inch shorter.

I do think a Cocker trigger is a little smoother. It is easier to fire with when you are running because it is smooth instead of snappy.

snappy, my mag isn't snappy,I can shoot a mag a hell of alot better running than a cocker. yes I shot a cocker and yes My friends have them too. thats how I used them in games.
