I don't think there are too many 20yr+ players out there....
They probably died of lead poisoning from the paint!!

I started in 1985. If I remember right paintball as we know it was started in 1982. If there are any 20+ then they've taken too many head shots and can't remember!

Ah old school paintball... all the stories of turpentine parties and "When your gun doesnt shoot bark off a pine tree, the velocity is safe" makes me glad I missed that era :) actually, it woulda been sorta neat when you think about it, but then I'd ahve to have started before I was born, and fetuses make ****ty paintball players

First off there is no 20+ option.
Uh paintball started in 1981. It is the year 2001. That is 20 years.

Yup it is an NSG Splatmaster. Man I love that gun, and it still works :) I also used to have a GZ1000 (rarer than the splatmaster) but I sold it a long time ago. It was basically the same action as the splatmaster but was black and had a direct feed. We also used to use the woodstock masks which were basically UVEX goggles over a plastic face shield. real ugly stuff... I actually still take my splatmaster out and play against the angels and cockers on the field, it sure is fun, and you feel naked when you just have a plastic gun (no tubes, tank, etc).

man...you know when to get scared is when you see some guy carrying a PGP or a Splatmaster with nothing but 2 co2 cartriges and a couple 10 paintball tubes....and you should ReALLY get scared when he tells you he's been playing since there were oil based paintballs...

ElectricHead

Now there's a brand I've not heard of in a long time! They were possibly the best there was at the time. I don't remember having to resize them very much.

Yeah, back then paint was on the small size. you could still get .60 cal paint. The only paint I really remember from then is the california magnum, rp scherer, and nelson...
