Are the bushmaster and the shocker banned from tournments and some feilds and if they are you can change the maodes or doesnt it matter

No. For the time being tournament lock will work fine. When the rules are changed, you may need to buy a circuit chip for your board that only supports semi. The rest of your gun will still be tournament legal

actually, angels from what i heard... can be reprogrammed using the data-link... where every modes except "mode b" is locked. mode b is true-semi, with rof of up to 20.

But it's still reprogrammable and can go back to multi mode. What the NPPL is proposing is essentially all electros will need an OEM board that is semi only. They are still debating if an OEM chip will be allowed. (You could put the multi mode chip back in.)
I personally think it's BS. As a ref you can tell if someone is shooting turbo, fa or burst. It has a distinctive sound. I'm not sure where the money tie-in is for the NPPL and the manufacturers but it sure seems like there is one.
