Avatar Help Needed...

I have a picture on my computer that I would like to use as my avatar. It says that the file size needs to be 8,xxx kb, well the smallest I can get my image is like 48,xxx kbs. How do I make my image small enough to upload it and use it as my avatar? Thanks :)

I think it automatically reduces.

It says that the image is too large and to choose a smaller one? I've tried making it smaller with no success.

oops... did read that... um, I guess you need to edit it in photoshop or something...

get an image editor that can resize.. you can then change the file size of the image... S-PicView 2.0 works.
