I am going to get a tank, and i am deciding between this
16oz -

or this 12 oz -

The only reason why I might not get the short/fat 16oz, is because I heard that it weighs ALOT.......is this true??

Hmm well I'm kinda new to the whole paintball concept, I have a 14 OZ tank and it works fine, oh and uhm, what exactly is a drop forward?

What's up Incarnate ... I'd go with the 16 oz tank because You'll get more shots out of it than the 12 oz tank which in turn means you won't spend as much refilling it during the day. I've got a 24 oz tank and it only weighs 3 to 4 lbs when full. Plus, if you get a drop forward later, it wil move the weight of the tank forward toward the center of the gun making it better balanced. I've got a ProLine drop forward on my marker and it makes a world of difference. Plus, after you've got the drop forward on, You'll be set should you go to HPA or Nitrogen.
Freak, a drop forward attaches to the bottom of your marker's grip, it's a Z-shaped or straight piece of metal. It allows you to move your tank forward, and lower it a bit. It you have a bottom line setup already, you'd attach the drop forward where your tank screws in. you'd take your tank coupling and attach it to the farend of the drop forward.
Try this link to see what they look like:

After the page loads, click UNIVERSAL ACCESSORIES, then BOTTOMLINES AND DROP FORWARDS you'll have to scroll down some to see the drop forwards.

to incarnate, just go up to a 20 ounce tank, AN aluminum tan filled weighs less then an empty cromoly olly tank, cause i have them both. Plus, u can get a 20 ounce tank for only twetny bucks online. got to shop4paintball.com or paintballondemand.com, and order them from there, there cheaper then a 16 ounce, weigh less, and u get more shots
