What exactly does LPR do?

I'm gonna get a RAT and i need to know what exactly does LPR do? Should I just get a tapeworm and save $50? If I do get LPR should I get the adjustable or preset one? Will an LPR setup give me better efficientcy? Will the gun be quieter or more accurate? Thanks

An LPR can do alot of things, like Legend said, do some research and decide if thats what you want to do, you wouldnt believe the people that call up and want LPR's but have no idea what they are or what they do. Educate yourself on them and then decide just like spike is doing..asking questions before buying
