First thing is... an expansion chamber and reg do not improve the accuracy or range of your marker. They improve the gas efficiency. Expansion chamber are primarily for CO2 while Regs are for HPA.

A regulator or expansion chamber will both increase your accuracy by making your gun more consistent. The regulator will be better at this than the exp chamber. The way this works, is that imagine you fire 2 balls. One going 250 fps, another going 300 fps. Your gun is inconsistent if you're getting these readings, but I digress. Imagine you fire your gun from such a height, that the ball will be in the air for one second. The first shot will drop about 50 feet in front of the second shot, that is inacurate. You shoot a steady 280 with every shot, your shots will drop off at the same distance.

i see thanx
so now lets say i wanted to put both x chamber and reg on my gun how would i go about doing this
you could put a reg on the C/A adapter deely where the tank screws into the gun and then have an X chamber where it's supposed to be, however this completely defeats the purpose of the reg. becaause the liquid will expand to air in the chamber and still be inconsistant. Probably the best way to do it would be to get an anti siphon tank or a remote, these would act almost just like an expansion chamber then you could hook up an inline reg where the X chamber would go.

the primary purpose of the X chamber is to give Co2 more time to convert from a liquid to a gas. As far as accuracy is concerned, a regulator does improve accuracy! with a regulator you can get much better shot to shot consistency. Instead of your paint flying to different spots after every shot, the reg will give you a much tighter shot pattern on a given target.
