I am a newbie and have a question

I want to buy my first paintball gun and have been doing a lot of resaerch. I have come down to the last to guns that I want. Either the Spyder Shutter or the Spyder TL PLus. Can you please tell me which one you think would be the better buy for me???

I don't think one, is going to have a performance advantage over the other. The Shutter has some nice anodizing though.

Neither. It's just my oppinion, but I've shot a spyder before, and I like PMI's pirhanna much more than the Spyder Compact. I like that PMI right up there with my Model 98 actually.

have you played before? If you haven't don't even think about buying a gun yet. you need to play first so you can get a feel for the game so you can see if you like it.

My first gun was a Tl. it was very reliable and easy to figure out and it wasnt that bad of a starter gun. the shutter is the same as the tl except a paintjob and a couple of things like a gauge. Its up to you what one you should buy.

Go with a model 98 custom. They are cheaper and way better.
