I have an Armson 16" rifled barrel that I use on a Tippmann Model 98. I covered it with camo tape, to keep the paint in good condition for re-sale. Will this screw up the way the ball shoots? Do those little air holes need to be open? What are they there for? Thanks.

the holeas are clled porting. they reduce the noise b/c air can leave and i think increase accuracy for same reason, but sure bout accuracy part

So, uncover them and risk damaging paint, or leave them covered (which looks pimp)?

usually unless u totally layered on the tape u can still c where the porting is.. just take a nail or pinn or toothpick or whatever and poke holes through the tape to reopen the porting
