Im confused. What is the diffrence between chopping a ball and breaking a ball?

Chopping a ball: When a paintball falls into the chamber and the bolt cuts the paintball. This happens when the marker fires and the paintball has not fully entered the chamber. This happens when you are shooting very fast as well as other times.

Breaking a ball: Chopping a ball also mean breaking a ball. Breaking a ball also includes when a ball breaks in your barrel. This occurs because:
1. mismatched barrel to ball bore size
2. bad paint (eg BE)
3. Dirty or warped barrel.
