I'm having trouble deciding between the Impulse and the Shocker. Can someone list the pros and cons of both and give their opinion. Thanks.

Shocker
Pros: Bolt is not exposed openly
more accurate than a impulse
more upgradeable than an Impulse
Cons: Heavy (for an electro)
Single Finger Trigger (that could also be a pro depending on your views
Gas Hog

Impulse
ProS: Quiet
more accurate than Bushy, cocker, Emag, and Automag
Lighter
Double finger Trigger
Not gas hog
Soft pull
Cons: Not upgradeable all most at all (www.wermmods.com)
bolt is exposed to outside elements (dirt, rain etc...)
Those are the only things I can think of at 10:00PM
Go for the impulse

Check: http://www.wermmods.com like JesterDude said. There are some cool upgrades for the Impulse.

Please lets stay off the accuracy debate. I just compared lengths and weights of the shocker compared to my 98...the 98 is bigger than the shocker with a 12" barrel. So Im not really worried about the size of the shocker anymore. The shocker it will be for me. Thanks for everyone's help.

which one shoots faster in a regular mode?

I'm not sure which one fires faster. Probably the shocker cause its supposed to have a better trigger pull. Doesn't matter though, cause Im getting the Glacier AT board for it.

which one shoots faster in a regular mode? - AutocockerAl

I think the Impulse an here is why.
The Shocker comes stock with a Single finger trigger, the Impulse comes stock with a double fingered trigger.

I can just fire a lot faster with a double fingered trigger than a single finger trigger.

cause Im getting the Glacier AT board for it. Sudden impact

If you want to play in toruneys dont do it, to make a Shocker tourney legal you have to get a board like with the impulse that can only shot semi.

Yeah I know that man. That's why I will be keeping the stock semi board :)

I own a field down here in Georgia. http://www.suddenimpactpaintball.com , and I allow full auto/select fire guns. And so do the surrounding fields I play at sometimes. That's why I'm getting the Glacier Board.
