getting a sponsored team going

i'm really becoming a die hard paintball fanatic very quickly. what're are some general tips for getting myself into the tournament world?

I'm moving this to the tourney talk forum. I think the boys over there might have a better idea about this kind of stuff.

gets some people who are really dedicated to the sport. Not some friends you know who "might" buy a gun, but "don't wanna spend too much"

my input... I want to start playing tournies also...

Find out if there are some Tourney Series that go on around you.. for me they have the www.nwts.org .

From there since they are in your area, and there will be teams checking it out... If there is a forum, you can simply put, If you need a player for the next tourney, I'm free.

Then go from there. Me and another guy (i dont know him) may play in our first tourney this weekend from doing what i just stated.

or check out local fields, talk to the owner, find out local teams, and if he knows of any that need people...

seems like a lot of good set rules to get known. i just need to play more and more. haha, thank goodness too, because paintball is the best thing since margarine. :D

ne wayz yeah....for me it was jez playin at the fields constantly and eventually being noticed....it involves a little luck and all.
