I borrowed some anti-fog spray for my mask (i dont have a thermal one) from a friend and it worked great; didnt fog up once in about 3 hours of play. I went to buy some specifically made for paintball masks at a store. The clerk said they were out of it but that anti-fog spray for swimming masks is the exact same. Is it? Will this type of spray do the job or is it different and will fog up or mess up the lens in my paintball mask?

If you're mask's lens is made of Lexan, check the label on the product to see if it can be used on a Lexan lens. I know JT uses Lexan in their Elite masks, and I think they use it in the Spectras too.

it should work, but i dunno. paintball lenses are stronger (except Brass Eagle) than swimming goggles. u should just get a thermal lense for birthday or christmas or summtin.

I have tried some stuff made for car windshields and it is much stronger then most stuff. I made sure it said safe for use with sport goggles though.

Whats the point of getting thermal if you can get
non-thermal for cheaper and buy this spray for $4 and not have it fog up once? I swear, i sprayed this stuff on and the lens was perfectly clear for 3 hours straight (and thats because we stopped after 3 hours!)

eh.....I had a non thermal and i used a no fog spray...i didn't like it..i trust THermal alot more than i do non thermal..at not foggin up...no matter how much no fog crap you put on..i think a good thermal system will prevent fog more.

I do the same thing with the glasses spray stuff. It cleans paint and dirt off the lense well but, it doesnt help much in preventing fog.

I've tried both thermal and non thermal and I just like thermal better. I find that even with no fog spray, when sweat starts building up on the foam around the lenses it fogs up. And please be careful about using non paintball specific sprays, though no fog for reading glasses may seem like a good idea, some cleaning sprays like windex can dissolve your lense

It might be better if my lense dissolves... it would give me an excuse to buy a new mask!
