I odnt have an impy yet but i am seriosly considering getting one for the summer and i was wondering what dwell is and what it does

this is a little over simplified, but you have 2 factors that combined control how fast the ball goes. the pressure on the ball and the amount of time that pressure is "turned on" the dwell is the amount of time the solonoid is held "open"- in other words how long the pressure is turned on.

Most electro markers allow you to adjust the dwell in some way so you can "fine tune" the preformance of your gun
