The question it's accuracy but quality!
Check first the bore size to your paint!!!!

Well, it looks to be a tie.

You know that the Bigshot only comes in 11.5" length right? I'd go for the Bigshot, Lapco makes high quality barrels. I don't like 32* barrels, they look tacky. Oh, if you're wonderin the Big's barrel size, it's .689

The bigshot works better than the terminator, my bro has the term and i have the bigshot, i have shot both and the bigshot has much more accurate groupings, also they are both medium bore so that wouldn't make a difference.

the reason that LAPCO's only come in 11.5" is because they found that to be the optimum size. After that accuracy can actually decrease, along with more gas consumption ect. There is a great article on http://www.mpaintball.com about how barrel length affects accuracy and such. It makes you realize just how retarded people with 16" barrels and longer are.

its kinda wierd. I just noticed how the bigshot compares to the terminator on pbreview.com

How come the terminator is more recommended than the bigshot? I never used a bigshot but i would tend to favor those reviews because they are from actual users.

It seems clear that more people are satisfied with thier terminator barrels than the bigshot.

uhh I think you got it the wrong way around mirot87. See the people who use LAPCO's are experianced or pro's. Only newbies use terminators.

well you better tell some more pros to go and post good reviews about the bigshot! Dont blame me if it gets higher ratings. thats what those ratings are for. Maybe its just a funny coincidence that its rated higher i dont know.

ratings on pbreview are almost useless, all it takes is one loser to post a 1 with no reason and the rating is shot to hell. Don't look at the ratings, read the reviews and decide for youself how educated the posters are.

True. Read the reviews not just the numbers. Of course theres people who say "it ruls get it!!" and "it sux dont get it" in the ratings, you just gotta read them and see. It seems the people who gave the Bigshot lower marks didnt like how it was pretty loud. That, and they say its too expensive but that can change. I had trouble finding out what the (very few) people who gave the terminator lower marks had in common. Some people said the 'accuracy sux' but because so many more people said the exact opposite, i wonder if maybe theres something else wrong with thier gun.

Before i got my terminator i was skeptical about all the good reviews. How can this be? i thought there might be some kind of conspiracy ;o]
but i found out the accuracy is dead on and it is indeed very quiet. that was my top two concerns.

yeah I saw the post that said the bigshot was too expensive, that guy must have been on crack. For it's quality it's one of the best deals around. Also, yes it is loud, but the lack of porting and muzzel break at the end make it loud, but thats also what makes it so accurate, it's a trade off, and I'd rather have accuracy. Noise is barely a factor for most people.

I've read the reviews on almost everything on this damn site and the best to go with is the Terminator Barrel more people are happy with that than the lapco. Terminator takes the top, get it!

I went with a terminator cause of the reviews on this site and the barrel is indeed everything they say it was. Quiet, accurate with a good paint combo. but it's also not that picky with paint. I am planning to go LP with my spyder and when i do that I plan on getting the Bigshot cause with less porting.. it makes the barrel better suited to be efficient running at a lower pressure.

seems how some people just crawled out of the woodwork and did thier part to 'equalize' the terminator ratings on pbreview.com by giving it crappy reviews. Its just silly, obviously these people (or PERSON) dosent have a terminator barrel. If you look at those reviews they say how 'balls curve for no reason' or 'tons of ball breaks' 'very loud' where its just the opposite from 95% of all the other reviews. I'd bet its just some kid whos pissed off that he bought a $100 barrel and is realising that he could have gotten similar quality Terminator for $35.

how is terminator winning?? this is no contest. BIGSHOT IS TEN TIMES BETTER. well maybe not ten, but close. see what any of the moderators in this thread say, b/c they are the most experienced usually.
